I have an old sony pentium 4 computer and i moved it upstairs. I have a router downstairs but i hate having a 50 ft cord of ethernet running from upstairs to downstairs. How do I get internet on this desktop computer with using an ethernet cable? (I have a router with wifi)

that but I would upgrade the ram to 2 gig by buying some more for 30 dollars. But that laptop only has 80 gig and windows vista basic. In the past the reporting and debate has been almost exclusively about who did or didn't break the law, who leaked first, would anyone be indicted, tried, serve jail time or be pardoned, etc. But very little coverage or debate on the act itself-i.e., the outing of a covert (covert when outed by the way) agent working on WMD issues, specifically Iraq. No where near enough effort has been directed toward recognition that those involved (Cheney, Rove and Libby at the least, and possibly Bush, himself) commited acts, possibly treasonous, that compromised our national security and that they did so purely for political vendetta reasons.

My mom recently hear something about the HDTV like if you dont have it then you wont be able to watch tv or it wont come in very good starting around the first of december or the first of janurary. I dont know much about it and i have not had much success in looking up is there anyone who had any clue as to what they are talking about or is this just a myth or rumor that started up. They're also talking about some kind of HDTV converter so that you can be able to watch it. And these converters are being sold at BEST BUY.

i did an HSG and the doctor said my tubes were twisted and not blocked. it was stretch but each i have intercourse with my husband, spems flow out all not matter the position i take even after so many hours . Another problem i have little or no ovulation mucus even after taken stimulative drugs . Can any one explain my system?

Is there a good brand of buggy which takes up relatively little floor space and wont be too wide to get on most London buses.

I have two children under 2 (my daughter is about to turn 2, my son is almost 6 weeks old).

I feel like i cant get out of the house, i feel trapped. My daughter is not a great walker so she likes to go in the buggy. At the same time she is a handful when she is not in the buggy. When coming home from anywhere she usually falls asleep too, which will make my life very difficult.

This question is specifically about double/tandem buggies - I dont really want to know about carrying the baby in a sling - I am considering that too.

I was approached by a disabled panhandler this morning, and a question struck me. Seems these days like it's en vogue to hate "big government"; that taxes are bad and that people should take it upon themselves, as INDIVIDUALS, to provide themselves and their families with what they need: Health care, retirement money, education, etc. Most people you ask seem to condemn the ideas of welfare, social security, and government-sponsored universal health care. INDIVIDUALS should provide for INDIVIDUALS, right?

Well, if that's so, why are people so reluctant to give personally to some needy, broken-down homeless guy on the street? I hear people say they'd rather give their dollars to charities and shelters, and let these ORGANIZATIONS do the actual "helping". If people are so opposed to centralized organizations when it comes to health care and welfare, why won't more INDIVIDUALS give a buck or two to the man in the street, and cut out the bureaucracy? Just a Thanksgiving thought.

can we stop being so quick to report questions, unless they are blantantly racist, violent, adult in nature or harmful to children?????

someone's question about who god was talking to when he said "let there be light" was deleted. yes, chances are that the question was meant to open your eyes to your own beliefs. whether you're religious or not, don't you think you should be able to answer the tough questions, or point the asker in the direction of someone who can, instead of trying to dismiss the fact that those questions exist by reporting them into deletion?

I have been having very painful muscle cramps in my my lower leg(calf). My grandmother said that i might have ricketts.
I asked her what it was and all she said was i should eat better.
