Use HOT water to rinse your razor, & use an after-shave balm -- not a regular alcohol-based lotion. You might also consider laser hair removal, & never have to shave again. Is this for your own personal issue, or are you merely curious? I used to do this myself, so I'm not making fun of you.

Honest answer... That's why I don't shave down there. Get a wax instead to avoid those pesky little bumps.

Sounds weird but Preparation H works very well for that. It has to be one with an active ingredient that states "vasoconstriction" .
My friend told me about it a couple months ago and it works great.

I don't get bumps that often. I don't know if you can really even prevent it if you're shaving.
