It doesn't say "Jesus is the Archangel" for many reasons, and one being that Jesus wasn't always the Sons prior to his human form.
It doesn't say the "Son is Michael", nor do it say "Jesus is God". But, to know who Michael is, you have to understand the scriptures, and how it shows Michael being the Son of God.
I can show you many scriptures that shows Michael being Jesus but would you be willing to listen?
Also, does it state The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are three persons but one God? No, not at all.
UPDATE:
Dave C
Quote a scripture that was actually in John's writings.. That verse did not appear in the early writings and thats why most bibles do not add it.
1 John 5:7 Amplified Bible
Footnote: 1 John 5:7 The italicized section is found only in late manuscripts.
1 John 5:7 (NIV,NWT,ESV,ASV)
For there are three that testify:
1 John 5:7 (New Living Translation)
So we have these three witnesses
Footnote: A few very late manuscripts add in heaven—the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one. And we have three witnesses on earth.

where in the bible he said he is not? or that his name is Jehovah?
you can´t denied that Michael is son of God any JWs can take your own bible and proof you that, also you can´t denied that he is called "great prince" in Daniel 12:1.
Also you can denied that if Michael is the chief of angels is cause he must be the first one.
also you can´t denied that if he is the first angel he is the first son of God.
Also you can´t denied that the bible call Jesus the first son of God in Colossians 1:15-17.
Also you can´t denied that the voice Of Jesus is the voice of Archangel. (1 Thessal 4:16)
Also you can´t denied that he is the one that defeated Satan in Revelation 12:7 and according to the bible in Genesis 3:15 the seed of the woman is the one that will do that, so Michael is that one.
there are several " also you can´t denied" that if I keep writing I will fill the whole page"

I only find mention of the archangel Michael in
Jude 1:9 ...........1Thess 4:16.........Da 10:13; 21 and 12:1............I don't know if I see Michael mentioned anywhere else.
Archangel simply means the head or chief messenger. It's taken from the two Greek root words [archo], meaning the first in rule or power, and [aggelos] meaning messenger, or one who brings tidings. It is also translated as the chief or top messenger. The word [aggelos] (messenger) is also translated angel (in that an Angel is a messenger from God) to signify one who brings tidings from God.
One of the ways God puts forth spiritual truths is in the names He assigns in the Bible. From the name Adam, to Israel, to David, to Christ, God assigns names which reveal some great spiritual truths. And the name Michael is no exception. If we study it carefully and honestly, it reveals who this is. The word Michael is of Hebrew origin [miykael] and most nearly means "He who is assuredly God". Taken from the root Hebrew words [miy] (who is), [kiy] (assuredly), and ['el] (God). Kiy, the prepositional prefix has also been rendered as meaning "who is certainly God" or "who is as God". This is totally consistent with all of scripture which deals with the work of Michael. For Christ, the messenger of God has or will do all the things assigned to Michael, the head or chief Messenger. Christ is the Messenger of God in charge of the army of God. And He assuredly is God, and that is what the title God gives of "Michael" signifies.
The Archangel Michael is the Chief Ruler of thy people, but He is not a created being. This angel or Messenger of the Lord has appeared time and again in the Old Testament to illustrate, He was assuredly God. Michael, the Great prince and Chief Messenger of the living God!

The Watchtower claims “Scriptural evidence indicates that the name Michael applied to God's Son before he left heaven to become Jesus Christ and also after his return.” [Insight to the Scripture Volume 2, page 393]
One of the verse the Watchtower misinterprets to prove that Jesus is Michael is found in 1Thessalonians 4:16. 'For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.'
Paul who wrote this epistle identifies three things happening in this verse at the same time when Jesus returns. Here Jesus shouts, a trump of God sounds, and the voice of an archangel is present with the Lords dissension. The Watchtower says that Jesus and the archangel here are the same. If that is so, then not only is Jesus the archangel, but Jesus then would also be a trump of God. It is the Watchtower who adds what they believe to this verse to change the meaning, but the fact is this verse does not teach that Jesus is Michael.
“Jesus Christ, according to his divine nature, is the only Son of God-- eternally begotten, not made nor created, for then he would be a creature. He is the Son of God not only from the time he assumed our nature but from all eternity.”

It doesn't!
Rather, he says that he is the son of God (John 10:36). He also identifies himself as the God who gave his name to Moses as "I AM" (John 8:58).
And the book of Hebrews declares that Jesus is "so much better than the angels," and, in verse 5, "For to which of the angels did He [God the Father] ever say: 'You are My Son, Today I have begotten You'?" And God the Father calls Jesus, the son of God, 'God', when he says, "But to the Son He says: 'Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom' " (verse 8).
No, the Bible never declares that the angel Michael is Jesus the Christ, but boldly declares quite confidently that he is, and always will be, God.

It doesn't. In fact, the Bible says that He isn't!
For to which of the angels did He ever say:
“ You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You”?
And again:
“ I will be to Him a Father,
And He shall be to Me a Son”? Heb. 1:5

I believe the following testifies that the pre-incarnate Jesus was also referred to as the Acrhangel Michael:
Rev. 12:7,8 "And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven."
And, could another mere angel be more powerful than Lucifer -- who was the number one angel, the covering cherub, in Heaven? Here is twice that pre-incarnate Jesus contended with satan:
Jude 1:9 "Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee."
Dan. 10:13 "But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me [Gabriel -- second after Lucifer] one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia."
Hey, JC, above...
>> ...does it state The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are
>> three persons but one God? No, not at all.
1John 5:7 "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."
EDIT for JC: If it were incorrect, then God would have kept it out of His Word entirely -- for not only is He a God of Truth, but He is also a Jealous God which would not wish to share His Kingdom with yet Another God figure. It does not matter if you shorten this verse to say that there are three which bear witness. Those three are named in other parts of the Bible, anyway. Also, this verse is not the only example of the Bible's own description of three separate beings which are all termed, "God." There are far too many to list here. Perhaps you should study your Bible futher.

Think of it like this.
If Jesus was a mafioso, the Archangels are his enforcers.
He's not an Archangel.
Jesus was human, the archangels never can be.
Humans and angels are two different beings.
