Why?

An acquintance (sp?) of mine cheated on her boyfriend, so he committed suicide. He had problems, but that's beside the point. Anyways, now she constantly acts as though he is merely on vacation without his cellphone, and she puts up away messages involving his name and how much she loves him, needs him, etc. You know the stereotypical ones, "out with (insert name here) cell good! love you (name here with last letter of the name drawn out.)"

Is that normal? It seems like she's losing it to me.

what do you do when there is a boy that youve gone out with and his three years older than you are and your mom and step dad make you break up. and we want to get back togrether but your scared your parent will find out. me and his sister are best friends so i see him every other weekend and days that we dont have school.

We all know that guns kill people, that government is our protector, and that there is no reason to desire to own a firearm in our modern world.

Why wait until the next president is elected, to do what we all know is best?

Those who are law abiding will surrender their weapons.

The others are lawbreakers, and should be eliminated.

Isn't it time we all became peaceful and trusting?

Why is the Old-West mentality tolerated? The police should plan sweeps and rid our nation of guns, once and for all.

Our local police departments have all the power and resources to do any "defending" that may ever become necessary. It's not like it was in the 1770's when the Bill of Rights was written.

Isn't it time we threw the "beliefs" of the older generation aside, and entered a new world of love and harmony? One free of guns and violence?

Hello, I'm planning on moving to Toronto in the summer to visit. I plan on renting an apartment for 3 months and simply enjoying the Canadian lifestyle. I understand that it will cost a lot of money in order for me to do this, so I really wanted to get a job there. I'm 18 years old and am a U.S. citizen. How would I go about getting a job in Canada? It's really essential for me to make money while I'm there so any guidence is very much appreciated. Can I simply walk into a small business, like a Starbucks or McDonald's and ask for a job, or is that not permitted? Please, any advice will help.

Been with the boyfriend for about 2 years. Sometimes I feel he wants me to break up with him, even though he tells me that he doesn't want that at all, and he hopes we get married. He doesn't act as sweet as he used to. Part of it is I can be very demanding sometimes. I always want to hang out. He tells me the reason why he's not as nice as he used to is all because of me. He says I expect too much from him, and expect him to be everything, and I'm going to have to learn that he can't be my everything. He also tells me that I won't ever find a guy who puts up with my crap, and that he puts up with so much. I was upset because today he didn't call and tell me happy thanksgiving, but he said I never gave him a chance to, and that he didn't want to waste his minutes because it costs too much money. He said that he was trying to save up money so he could do something fun with me. We're both 20 and studying abroad together. Do I need to change or Am I being taken for granted?
