I have a 2007 VW New Beetle with 900 miles on it. The check engine light just came on. Any ideas of why this might have happened? Thank you,
Daniel

I just think it makes more sense. People should be able to keep 100% of their pay check. We should replace the IRS with the Fair Tax.

I have been building custom machines for almost 5 years now and have "run out" of customers. All my clients (and everyone they have recommended me too) have new machines and wont be upgrading for a few years. Some place that caters to local areas would be preferred. I have not ever tried to sell on Ebay and have little experience with website creation.
I have already tried Craigslist.com, oodle.com and MSN.com and the local paper... any other ideas.
Bonus points if the site is geared towards or draws traffic from computer users looking to upgrade or buy new machines rather than a buy every thing under the sun kind of site (like Ebay) . Any ideas?

any idea what i'm doing wrong? i'd looked at a few vids on youtube and i've found a few problems with my technique

(i'd fallen into the wide hook problem, so i'm gonna practice the short sharp hooks for a few days non-stop)

another problem i noticed was when i hook my knuckles are horazontal - not vertical | Dunno if this could be one of the reasons i'm spraining my wrist or not.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

The most recent skeptical expert I've seen cited is Bob Carter. He's a geologist who's been making false claims, like that the planet stopped warming in 1998.

There have been many others. John Coleman (meteorologist), Tim Ball (geographer - some background in paleoclimatology), William Gray (meteorologist), Reid Bryson (meteorologist), Tim Patterson (geologist), etc.

This strikes me as interesting. Many meteorologists do not study climate science, and geologists basically study the history of climate science (paleoclimatology). While weather and paleoclimatology are critical to climate science, they only make up a part of the information necessary to understand it. Also important is modern climate data.

What do you think about the large number antrhopogenic global warming skeptic 'experts' who are meteorologists and geologists?

I have a large amount of classical music records from the 50s and 60s, and I want to sell them. They are all like new, since the people that I aquired them from barely listened to any of them. They are mostly from foriegn ensembles and orchistras. Ebay is not working for me, as the market for these records is probably limited. I was just wondering if anybody had any ideas regarding how or where I should sell them, or if it is even worth trying to.

It would be much more of a democracy if we could directly elect our president. Why do we need someone else to do it for us?

Is there a term to describe a drawing/picture that covers an entire page instead of just taking up a portion of the page?

I sometimes dream that I am in Muhammad’s presence, and that my heart is beating like thunder and that my knees are quaking and my stomach is churning. There is a peculiar sense of familiarity in the air.

I first thought that this was Satan, tempting me with lustful thoughts, so I followed the Prophet’s (PBUI) advice about bad dreams ( http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-APqgCAM1eqDGbnn99_Bb5c32jlLE ). But they persist, especially when I spend prolonged periods reading from the Qur’an. Is this dream from Allah, do you think, or from Satan?

And what does it mean?

Thank you so much, and love and peace and mercy in Allah.

...having friends out of your own race gives you a chance to accept people as they are and learn more about their culture. That people have friends only of their own race just because they refuse (or afraid) to step out of their zone of comfortability?

I have been feeling very bloated and getting small pains in my stomach. I felt extremely nauseated this morning also. I just had my cycle about 2 weeks ago. My husband and I had intercourse at the very end of my cycle (sorry about the details). I did go to a walk-in center and the Dr. took a urine sample and said it was negative. I also took a test this morning and it came up negative. Could it be possible I am only a week or so along and the tests are not detecting it this early? I just don't want to continue taking the Birth Control if I am pregnant. Please no stupid remarks, this is serious, thank you.

...does this suggest that Christ is 'OK' with a man marrying more than one woman?

2007-11-20 11:03:43 · 11 answers · asked by ♂ Equibrilium ♀ 4 in Religion & Spirituality

Once upon a time, a perfect man and a perfect woman met. After a perfect courtship, they had a perfect wedding. Their life together was, of course, perfect. One snowy, stormy Christmas Eve, this perfect couple was driving their perfect car (a Grand Caravan) along a winding road, when they noticed someone at the side of the road in distress. Being the perfect couple, they stopped to help. There stood Santa Claus with a huge bundle of toys. Not wanting to disappoint any children on the eve of Christmas, the perfect couple loaded Santa and his toys into their vehicle. Soon they were driving along delivering toys. Unfortunately, the driving conditions deteriorated and the perfect couple and Santa Claus had an accident. Only one of them survived the accident. The mind numbing question is: Who was the survivor?

Scroll down for the answer...

The perfect woman survived. She's the only one who really existed in the first place. Everyone knows there is no Santa Claus and there is no such thing as a perfect man. Women stop reading here. That is the end of the joke.

Men keep'a scrollin'...

So, if there is no perfect man and no Santa Claus, the perfect woman must have been driving. And that explains why there was a car accident. By the way, if you're a woman and you're reading this, this illustrates another point: Women never listen, either.
