I got 5 A's and 3 B's on my IGCSE's. (International General Certificate of Secondary Education.)
Can somebody (Ehem... Ranto the Great ) please convert this to the American G.P.A. format? I'm doing my senior year in the US and I have to submit my university applications. Also, can you tell me if I have a chance with these universities?

My SAT scores were 1820. (1210/1600). I could only do the test once because I still have to do my SAT IIs before I can meet the university deadlines.

Where in the world can I find the complete 11th season of Bonanza?? I've looked everywhere it seems, where on the internet can I find something like that to buy? Like an online store that has seasons. I can find seasons 1-6 for sale but cannot find season 11 for sale. ANY help would be great! =) Thanks in advance!

After a cold start in sub-zero weather, my friend and I argued about the fastest way to warm up the inside of my car. I would always start the car, drive for few minutes, then turn on the heater fan once the engine temp had more or less peaked. My friend, however, claimed that the fastest way to warm up the cabin would be to turn the fan on immediately after starting the car (and at full blast, ideally), thus blowing in cold air before gradually warming up.

I say my way is faster since you are allowing the radiator coolant and heater core to accumulate heat before displacing it into the air with the fan. My friend says his way is faster since you get the first traces of engine heat right away by turning the fan on immediately after startup.

Is my method faster, or is his, or does it theoretically make no difference between the two. Pros? Cons? Is there anyone who has expertise in the transfer of heat who could settle this for us once and for all? Thank you all.

Here's my deal. I have a buyers agent. I signed up with her after I found a house I was really interested in. Made an offer on the house. They countered. We countered. They countered. We were still about 20k apart. We told them we were still interested, but that we'd like to look at some other houses that weren't quite as big a stretch.

Then a week later, they took the house off the market and decided to wait until spring.

My question is: Now that the house is no longer listed, can I contact them directly and see if they'll sell it to me without their realtor. Or, since I found the house through their seller's agent, the agent still gets paid even though the listing agreement has expired?

I ask because I'd like to save some money, and if they don't have to pay the listing agent fee (just my buyers broker fee) then that gets us a lot closer.

ok, im wanting to audition for a movie. i have some questions, and if anyone can answer them, that wud be great:
1) how do u get the production to notice u?
2) how much are agents?
3) what do u do when u audition? can i do an audition tape if im faraway?
4)how do u find out if there is open casting calls or not?
