If the question doesn't apply to you, why in the world would you bother to answer it? If it doesn't apply to you, try this: rather than answering a question that has nothing to do with you personally, then acting like an indignant nit, DON'T ANSWER. If it does apply to you, feel free to be as indignant as you please. .lol
Does that sound like it would work?

If the question doesn't say "all", "every one" or something to that effect, it is a general question, not a generalization.

a better question might be: why do people post questions when they really want to hear only what they want to hear? why do people get soooo defensive when someone doesn't answer exactly in the way the questioner wants them to? instead of being an oversensitive nit who gets so easily offended and only wants to justify their position... don't freak disguise statements as questions. That's wasting everyone's time here.

Well in part because people confuse stereotypes.....and in part because a lot of people don't like stupid or ignorant questions.....or have noticed something that the questioner has either left out or hasn't realized.

Not sure if this question was directed at me, but in this case I took the final option......boredom and a gamble on my relevance....

When a questions says: CHRISTIANS, I will answer if I so desire.

It is part of my obsessive-compulsive nature to answer questions addressed to Christians if I want to do that.
I have an obsession with defending myself if I feel that I am being attacked.

Could you please use the little word SOME when you speak of Christians who say and do things that displease you?

So many people do not get fallacies. I see begging the question used incorrectly a lot.

Don't know, don't care. Stop generalizing and address issues instead of people, then? That's the logical approach.
