I am shocked that no one sees it...

when i was 20 i made 5.50 an hour and had my own apartment and did ok

the kids are making the same now and live at home or in hotels...

It will hit a point where the prices will have to halt. We are seeing it with the price of houses that were two times the price of what the average person could afford. It's been 45 years since the wages have beat the cost of living for the average person. It will be 10 more years before something had to give (either deflation or wage increases across the board).

It depends on which end of those stagnant wages your on. There are some people who could go the rest of their lives without another raise and be just fine. the biggest problem is that those people have no concern for or interest in the people at the other end of the scale.

.2% inflation rate from last quarter is made up. I would say about 5 to 40 years (Depends on the actually inflation rate and the drop in currency exchange rate)

Get an education, learn a skill. There are good paying jobs out there.
These jobs aren't exactly "suit and tie " jobs, but they do pay well. But no one without any training will be able to get them.
There's a huge demand for roofers, heating and air conditioning mechanics, nurses, truck drivers. They pay good wages, but you need the training.You can get it at almost any community college.
Drop out of school, you're dogmeat on the job market,

People who accept stagnant wages are dummies who refuse to get educated so they can command better wages.
Taking care of morons is not the governments job.
