It is a Nikon. Next week I pick up my new D300. I went to sell my old Nikon and all I was offered was a measly 400 dollars. What!! How can that be? It's only 3 years old.

Ok, I am in my second year at the University of Memphis and I was staying at a dorm my first semester but that didn't work out (My roommate was smoking crack and weed in my room and the cops caught him and he didnt get kicked out so I moved back home). The thing is that I am basically cutting myself off from my parents because of personal problems and I have to move into an apartment. However, I have a car note and bills that I have to pay along with the rent and utilities. My dad makes an *** load of money so I was really limited on how much I could get from federal loans the first year but now Im moving out I dont have his help. Does that mean I can get more money from fed loans or what? I am at a loss for what to do and I have to be out by Jan. 1st. I have NO IDEA what needs to be done and this is without a doubt the worst holiday season of my freaking life... If anyone has sugestions about other loans I could get or anything please help me out.

I truly wanna be a Music Producer, and I'm in college right now, but I feel like I'm wastin my mom's money cuz I honestly can't see myself doin anything else. But I've been at a crossroad for the past year, cuz I know what my heart wants, but my mind is *HORRIFIED* that I'll be a failure. home". What purpose does it serve? I hear but don't listen to criping except to get a take on where the "mind set" is functioning/ (get me on that grammar. I confess, not so good.) Sinking in the problem seems, well, redundent. I am not a Rocket Scientist. I hold no Akolades in Any Area. I am not called upon for my opinion or "take".

I am questioning our motives. I am questioning things that simply don't make sense. We can accept complience and apathy forever. The forever part will be short lived but it will be what we allowed, (accepted). My question? Does anyone have the goal of fixing "real problems"? Acceptance and Apathy are Kicking Our Butts. Everyone knows it but noone stands up, votes or questions any of it. Why? That is my question. Why? I have my answer already. Please do not respond with antagonist, mean-spirited remarks. None needed. I want Answers or Solutions. I want "Helpers". Thanks.

physical pain that it affected everything?
Some of you know that I suffer from Spinal Stenosis, I've had three back surgeries and now need another one. I also take a lot of pain killers. Can't move without them.
So, tonight my answers have not been the happiest. I am very sorry. I don't usually let it get to me this bad.
How has pain effected your life? Where you ever injured or had an illness which required surgery? What was it?

I had this 'friend' who wasn't really a friend, more of an emotionally abusive albatross, I knew her from jr high/high school, we lost touch and ran into eachother years later and rekindled our friendship, sort of. I had bad experiences with her in high school, and so I was reserved when we started being friends again, but was okay with it because it had been a long time, and people can change...
Or not! She started in on her making fun of me, passive agressive jabs at me, poking fun at my then boyfriend, other friends, occupation, field of study, etc. I bit my lip, then one day after an especially bad time with her I let it all out, told her how I felt about her behavior, about everything. I have never done that before, it was like all of my resentment toward her, even back from high school, came out. At first I was really glad, it felt really good, but now I regret it. I certainly don't want to be friends, but I wish I had not blown up. Anyone else? Should I feel bad?

My mom and dad been divorced for over seven years but gets calls every night from these creditors. The creditors seem to not believe he doesn't live there, thinking her husband to be the one they are looking for. My mom sent cease & desist letters but they are calling again; she thinks the debt was simply sold. She cannot keep paying $$$ to send registered mail to these creditors when they can simply keep selling the debts. I'm also not in contact with my dad though he's asked for money in the past, so no help there.

Why the rise of NASCAR, Paris Hilton news stories, UFC, and wrestling mania & reality TV......hate crimes are up according to the FBI, swatstika and noose incidents are up as well?
Clearly there is a trend where these forms of our "entertainment" are on the rise here in the USA. What does it say about the "mindset" of today's U.S. citizenry?
