Why the rise of NASCAR, Paris Hilton news stories, UFC, and wrestling mania & reality TV......hate crimes are up according to the FBI, swatstika and noose incidents are up as well?
Clearly there is a trend where these forms of our "entertainment" are on the rise here in the USA. What does it say about the "mindset" of today's U.S. citizenry?

I think I worry about you. There may be some things in American culture that are frivolous to some, but to others they are the escape from the real world. As for NASCAR, where else can you go to get real family orientated entertainment, besides Disney. Not football, not Baseball and certainly not Basketball. Have you noticed the attitudes there.
