I truly wanna be a Music Producer, and I'm in college right now, but I feel like I'm wastin my mom's money cuz I honestly can't see myself doin anything else. But I've been at a crossroad for the past year, cuz I know what my heart wants, but my mind is *HORRIFIED* that I'll be a failure. (if producers were paid your average salary, i'd do it in a heart beat) Sooner or later Imma hit a breakin point, but yeah... I'll handle that when the time comes...

If you have any doubt that being a producer won't work out in your favor...then it won't work Jeezy. You have to know it will work. But on the same note NEVER put all your eggs in one basket if you know what I mean. You will ALWAYS need a back up in the industry. Stay in school, trust me you will feel much more confident having something to fall back on later in life. I think if you really want to be a producer than it can happen. When I was in college I just knew I was going to be in the entertainment industry. I had my hook ups, and then just like that I got pregnant and my whole life changed. Luckily I had earned my degree and I had a plan B. My point is you never know what can occur in your life that can change things in the 9th ining.
As for me I dream to be a professor in a community college. This dream is so close, and I know I will pursue it in due time. After 7 years of college and grad school, and a $50,000 school loan, that ish better happen!

The one thing I TRULY want out of life is 100% faith in God. Several years ago, I meddled around with drugs and it kind of warped my sense of religion and if there was really a God and what not. Since then, everything has gotten A LOT better but I still have these questions about how the universe came to be and all that and maybe that the universe was just always here and God didn't create it. These thoughts really scare the living crap out of me, because I was born and raised Roman Catholic and I still practice. I still pray to God and ask for help and for these thoughts to go away, but sometimes I'm just torn. I guess now I'm answering your question in two parts. What I am truly terrified to go after is a life that would fulfill other people's lives: the needy, the hungry, the homeless, etc. instead of going after the career that I am really interested in (and not for money purposes).

Well...I can speak to you from experience...I played sports my whole life...but after high school reality set in...and I knew I wasnt good enough to make it into any pro leagues....My next best bet...go to school to become a PE teacher/Coach...Then when I got into with student teaching...I was HORRIFIED to speak in public, especially teaching something....I questioned my decision...but I worked through it(thank God)...Now Im in my 6th year of teaching and I love it...
For you...music production is a bit different....but if you really want it (and it sounds like you do) just go for it man...You cant be affraid to fail man...that ish build character...You never know exactly what you want till you fall..then get up and try again...
Good Luck...keep on working...
I just checked...and this was my 1000th answer...WOW...Im on here way to much...lol..

i want people to remember me for doing something good something bold, but, every time i make a step towards that i feel alone and scared so in turn i don't and i dream about me getting up the courage to do it. I love my mom but she knows me as being suttle, shy, mellow, i don't want to be remembered as the person that was to scared to do anything worthwhile. so what i truly want out to life is a life worth living.

what are you majoring in at college???
I feel the same way. I REALLY want to be a singer ( eh, what are the chances) and Im seriously going to FIGHT for this dream because I really want that life and one thing that is truly holding me back is my shyness. Im not a shy person, Im very social, but being on a stage infront of alot of people gives me the heebee geebees lol...everytime I do get on a stage I get stage-fright, which is very embarrasing....
