I adopted a cocker spaniel from the pound. She had a stupid name (Dora) so we are changing it. Initially, we thought Jesus would be a cool name, but we adopted a girl dog so it doesn't really fit. Any ideas? She's white and cream colored. I'm avoiding any names like "cutiepie" or "precious" or "fluffy." I'd prefer a name that could be a human name as well (just like "jesus" was a human name). Thanks!

We read with some confusion that Gerry McCann has spoken of his belief that "a predator" was watching his family in the days before his daughter Madeleine's disappearance.

Perhaps I'm dim here but if you believe that somebody is stalking your children would it not be wise to tell the Police ? or at the very least NOT LEAVE YOUR CHILDREN ALONE AT NIGHT WHILE YOU GO OUT ON THE PISS ? But what do I know ?

I honestly don't think she could be pregnant but I thought I'd put the question out there anyway. She got her first period about a month and a half ago. Her nipps/breasts are still much bigger than they were before and we noticed that she's gaining weight. We have a male puppy that lives in the same house as us (different apartment) and they played alot but I think he's too young for that. He's about seven months old now.

I'm planning on taking her to the vet tomorrow to find out for sure what's going on with this hand full of mine!! but until then I'd really like it if someone can tell me what the signs are. Thank you!!

We attended a Christmas Parade on Saturday and I found it necessary to write this letter -- would you be offended if you received it or were the person/group it was written about?
Dear Rebecca:
I must congratulate you on another fine Christmas Pageant. It was most enjoyable and we were grateful the rains held off during the procession.
I do have one concern however, and wish to address this through you instead of through a letter to the editor. A letter to the editor would only embarrass those who were involved and that is not my intention. My intention is to educate. I hope you will relay this concern on to the appropriate people. I know that lack of education is what created the circumstances of which I am about to write, so I hope you and they will bear with me.
I do not know the name of the group that marched. However, each member of the group carried a flag from a different country.

everyone has a passion & loves people. like family or friends. i m questioning my feelings, cuz i m like very unsentimental. it just feels weird when family or friends say "luv ya!" or something. how do i get comfortable to say "i love you" to someone? My fiance' is in the Air Force, and just found out he was being stationed in Italy. We had planned on getting married in two years, but instead we decided to go ahead and just get it done.
