Will the next Presidential election come down to electing someone who wants to stay in Iraq versus someone who wants us out?

I think it probably will be the main issue. Other concerns, such as health care and the environment, are also important to many people. But the war is probably the issue on which Democrats and Republicans are most clearly on opposite sides, and it's a very emotional topic for most of us. Since many voters want a change in policy regarding the war, the Democrat candidate will keep bringing it up, and the Republican will feel compelled to fight back.

Iraq and Immigration.are going to be the big issues, unless there are a couple of Big Hurricanes, in which case, Global Warming will get some play. Then too, Afghanistan, the forgotten War could go bad in a hurry and become THE central issue for Democrats.
