What I should I do to maintain a dog's good scent?

I am fostering a shar-pei-german shepherd dog mix, medium-sized and house-trained. Her coat is very short and not thick. The thing is after I take her out, she would smell YUCKY! at the end of the day. I bathe her once a week. I don't like to bathe her daily because she will lose her coat"s natural oil. So what should I do to let her smell good every day? Is there a cheap perfume for a dog?

When working with low-temp bake clays like Sculpey, can any kind of non-fired coating make it useful for food?

I like working with clay and making little knick knacks and stuff, but don't have and can't yet afford the kind of equipment needed for "real" clay (kiln, etc...). Sculpey is wonderful to work with in that it can essentially be baked in a toaster oven, but you can't eat or drink from any of the products you create. Is there any kind of coating or glaze that would make it useable for food other than a kiln-fired glaze? I don't think you could fire even pre-baked Sculpey products in a real kiln, but even if you could, if I had a kiln I'd just use the real stuff.

Me and 2 friends were hanging out, discussing Christianity, such and such, outside on a crisp warm day with wind blowing in the trees (bright in gold and red). I bet you're like "So what?" Hold your horses. I'm getting there. Well as we were staring off into the distance: A lake and the beautiful trees around it. We thought about how it looks like something that could be painted in a portrait. Then my friend said something along the lines of, "How can non-believers truly look and admire the beauty of nature and not believe there is a god"
So I want to know if you really think that the world in, all its beauty, simply just came to be out of nowhere. Because if you ask me, the world couldn't of just came from luck of two molecules bumping into each other, as much as I love science.

Its 5:20 pm Did any one else have to turn off the Red Skin game as I did after seeing Joe Gibbs blow the game.

Been a football fan a long time but first time when a team was full throttle and then the manager calls a no confidence in my team play, which flattens them. I think Joe gibbs a littlle too old. Any one agree???

Should I "Love Thy Neighbour"?

Im kinda struggling with something here and I just wanted your opinions on this one.

We used to hang out with the neighbours a lot. But when hubby got cancer, they all kinda bailed on us. They stopped calling, coming over, saying HI , that kinda stuff. It really hurt so I stopped being friendly as well.

Well, now all of a sudden , they are being friendly to hubby. He was over there today, and I didn’t bother going over to say HI because Im still upset that they bailed on us like that.

Plus, the one wife is a busy body gossiper, so I don’t like sharing personal information about us because she will spread the information all over town. That doesn’t sit well with me.

So my question is ….Do you “love thy neighbour” in this case ?

I feel bad that hubby is over there by himself, and I should be “a good person” and be nice and social, but yet I don’t feel comfortable around this woman because of the gossip.

I feel like if I don’t be friendly ….its makes me a bad person.
