I honestly don't think she could be pregnant but I thought I'd put the question out there anyway. She got her first period about a month and a half ago. Her nipps/breasts are still much bigger than they were before and we noticed that she's gaining weight. We have a male puppy that lives in the same house as us (different apartment) and they played alot but I think he's too young for that. He's about seven months old now.

I'm planning on taking her to the vet tomorrow to find out for sure what's going on with this hand full of mine!! but until then I'd really like it if someone can tell me what the signs are. Thank you!!

The puppy has since then been fixed. I on the other hand have to weight to get her fixed because I'm out of a job at this time and I can't do it right now. THAT'S WHY SHE'S NOT FIXED!!

A male can sire pups at 7 seven months. Even before. Were they left unattended? If so, there is a large chance she is pregnant.

Best way to know for sure is to take her to the vet. I don't think there are any ways for you to tell at home. They are pregnant for 63 days (average). You should get to the vet now so you know what to expect when the pups come. And since her heat was a month and a half ago, she could have pups in a few weeks. You need to get prepared. Complications can arise. The pups and mom could die.

In the future, it's best to spay to prevent unwanted litters. If you need to wait to get her fixed, just keep her away from males while she is in heat. Because a litter of puppies is way more expensive than getting her spayed. In the long run, if you want to save money, it's better to spay.

Why isn't she fixed? Why isn't the male puppy fixed? That would solve your problems in the future.

I think a seven month old male puppy could impregnate another dog, but I'm not sure!

You shouldn't have a dog if you can't afford to properly take care of him or her.

there is not any thank you to tell that she is pregnant until the twenty first day after breeding..in case you have measured her widely used girth on the final rib, and discover ways to the dimensions at 21 days, there will be a reasonable boost..different than that, the vet can tell at 31 days, and you will tell while the girth starts off visually to extend..Pseudo (fake) pregnancies produce the morning ailment and different signs and indications of being pregnant, (swollen nipples, and so on)
