A person throws a rock into your window of your home, glass flies everywhere, and your child sits on the couch where the rock flew through. You're sitting on the couch, too watching TV. The perpetrator has run away. You, and your child were surprised, and frightened by the sudden "attack". Your child, even after the police have come, and gone, and you have assured him/her that it is safe now, is still afraid, and refuses to sit on the couch, or anywhere near the window. Your child keeps talking about who might have done it. He/she is tense.
Later, the perpetrator is caught. Should he/she be charged with terrorist acts against the family who lives in the home?
(Same thing if your home is broken into. The feeling of safety is gone, isn't it?)

Right now my fiance and I live on a friends family country road and have been her for over a year. Its a long gravel road far from the highway with only his family along either side. Everyone here lets their pets outside, they all get along fine and because of this everyone takes extra special caution to watch out when driving down the road. Now we are about to buy a house that is right on a main road, and as of now with no fence. We have 4 cats. They have all been inside/outside for the past year and love it. They never venture of far here, usually you can find them lounging on the steps and they know they have to come in for food and they somtimes use the litter box if they are in. I only have a few ideas for after the move. The best I came up with is slowly bringing them inside more now.Then after the move screening in the porch so they have have a mock-outside and taking leashed walks. There is an extra bed we could also have cat friendly plants in with big windows. Any other ideas

My internet speed on my iMac is slow. It just my computer, I've plugged a Windows Laptop into the same connection, and it's just fine, speedy as ever. This trouble started a few days ago, I'll get on Safari and it'll go to about four pages just fine, but then on the fifth page, it'll just stop and won't load the page, no matter how long I wait. Isn't it wonderful that we've taken it out of the hands of the incompetent and inefficient hands of the federal government thus avoiding the hazards of socialism? Those on Medicare have so many choices now (usually over 50). Sure, those on Medicare may have a little trouble affording the team of lawyers and accountants they'll need to navigate the arcane terms of the policies available to them, and if they don't want to fall into the notorious "doughnut hole" they'd be wise to remain very rich or very poor, but on the whole the pharmaceutical and insurance industries should do very nicely for themselves. Three cheers for the U.S.A. where we don't ask the government for handouts. Instead we use our entreprenurial ingenuity to bankrupt those who do.

most of the violence was directed at the foreign troops, and now that they are gone, more of the violence has stopped.
