violence is down 90% in southern iraq now that the british have left completely.

most of the violence was directed at the foreign troops, and now that they are gone, more of the violence has stopped.

isn't it now obvious that the US should leave? Why are we still there? what's the advantage?

We are in Iraq for two reasons:

1) So haliburton, Blackwater, and the other right-wing corporations can make billions

2) So the religious right can get off on killing Muslims, especially the hundreds of thousands of innocent women and children who are dying to feed their religious hatred.
