You will need a degree irregardless of what type of job you are looking for. Rule of thumb for NGOs and IOs, they wont talk to you unless you have a degree or two. If you want a job that has any kind of specialization, then you will more than likely need a Master's degree or higher (depending). Secondly, you are going to need some experience before they will let you in too, this typically means an internship of some sorts which is typically unpaid.
