I've worked 3 days as a waitress @ one Iranien restaurant.
He's basically cheating me for my money,
I believe that he assumes that I'm an illegal alien in the US.
Which I AM NOT!
I AM AWARE OF THAT YOU DON'T MAKE ALOT OF MONEY PR. HR. AS A WAITRESS,BUT I THOUGHT THIS WAS A LITTLE TOO EXTREME........
I worked together 28,40 hrs.

example:
10:00a.m. - 10:00p.m.


10:00a.m. - 09:00p.m.

12:00p.m. - 5:40p.m.


The supervisor just answered:
I gotta speak to my partner first! (when I asked about how much I was gonna make hourly).

After I got to know that I was gonna get paid $300 weekly,I quit.
I don't wanna work that many hrs,without getting paid overtime and without having a payroll!

How much $ am I entitled do after working those hours as a waitress/cashier?

I think it might have been possible. I'm not necessarily entirely opposed to US in WWII but I think the US may have been able to avoid it considering the reason the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor was because of the oil embargo the US placed on them. When the US declared war on Japan, Germany backed up its ally and declared war on the US. Now if the US had used diplomacy with Japan they could've possibly ended the embargo and eased Japanese aggression without a fight. I don't believe the theory that Japan wanted to conquer the US. Hirohito was wary about attacking the US. Then Germany would likely not have declared war on the US because the US could therefore become neutral. This would mean not implementing the Lend-Lease Act. I think this strategy could've saved over 500,000 American lives and over billions of dollars (considering the US was just coming out of a depression). I think the UK and USSR could've held out against Germany (look at Stalingrad) and eventually Japan.

Govt rejects funding breast cancer drug
A drug for women with advanced breast cancer has been rejected for a government subsidy, prompting calls to have it added to a specialist funding scheme.

Tykerb was approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) in August but has since been turned down twice for a subsidy under the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS).

The expensive drug is designed for women with the extremely fast-moving HER2-positive form of breast cancer who have failed on the blockbuster drug Herceptin.

The pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) currently subsidises the $45,000 treatment under an access scheme with the hope it would win a PBS subsidy.

But a government advisory committee last week refused to reimburse Tykerb for reasons that are not yet clear.

Basically, they tell you to do this job, whether you agree with it or not. Everyone would get paid equally, so there would be high demand in certain jobs. This way that doesn't exist. And we can have a peaceful society where everyone lives happily. And there wouldn't be those who are too lazy to get a job, but still get paid. And people might not like their job, but we all contribute to society one way or another. Think we loose incentive? No, those who don't work will be sent to prison. Do you agree with that?

If for example you miss a day of work such as a company paid holiday, a day paid for bereavement, or any other company approved paid day off. And in this same week you worked 12 hours overtime and normally get paid time and a half. Can the company legally take 8 of those overtime hours and change them to straight time pay? Thus giving you a total of 36 straight, 8 holiday, and 4 hours o.t.? They say they can because you have to be physically at work 40 hours period. I live in Michigan if that pertains to state laws. Any info would be appreciated. And if possible where I can find it!
