I get headaches all the time,have sinus problems & asthma.

Yes it is probably mold, but no not unless it's growing mushroom out of it, will it make you sick. Just put on a mask, and scrape it off, then reapply new caulk! I also have asthma, triggered mostly by dry dust, or very dry air in the room. The type of mold that will get to you is the dry kind that gets airborne.

yes its mold, but the probability that this mold is making you ill is low. Most molds aren't toxic, just unsanitary. Go to any store and buy clorox spray and let it sit on ALL of the areas affected for 20 - 30 min. Then rinse and scrub with cleanser and a sponge. If there is any left, then repeat. You can also make the spray buy mixing clorox bleach and water and putting it in a spray bottle.

Get some Tilex mold and mildew cleaner. Spray it on your problem area and let it set for a few minutes. Come back and rinse it off. But be careful not to get it on any fabric. It will bleach the color out.

that black crud is called mildew, and yes it can make you sick. Use bleach on it, or rip it out and apply fresh caulk.
