Hi ill start out by saying im a freshmen in high school. yes, sadly. But im one of those few freshmen who hang out with all the juniors and sophmores. I have this class where all grades are in it. its 2d art. theres this kid named victor who isn't really popular, hes apparently really funny, weird, and the best head of hair ive probably seen in a guy. hes a junior too and its not really a big thing cause my schools weird and yea. This weird small kid told him I think hes hot and he said cool, and the next day asked the kid If i liked him, i dont know what the small kid said to him. I see him in the hall alot. he looks at me alot. we never talk. i have a chance after class to say hey but it seems I don't have enough guts. Hes pretty mellow and is not rude so I don't know why. My friends make fun of me cause i like him so much and I talk about him alot. so what do I do to get his attention, and I know talking to him would help but **** man i just can't

From my understanding, socialized medicine is when the government runs all aspects of healthcare: the funding, hiring, and managing of all work in hospitals. Single-payer just requires the government to fund public healthcare but hospitals would remain independent and privately owned and managed. Do you agree? What can you add?

I know people will hastily comment that these two systems are the same and will result in communism and so on. Please. Every other industrialized country has some form of government managed healthcare that is drastically more significant than the anarchy of the US system (you get what can, which is just harsh and subtle chaos).

I have a job now, but looking for other opportunities in my future. I work as a subsitute lunch room monitor & I want to go back to college in the spring of 2008. This job I had would be a weekend job & hopefully It would give me the week for my college work.

I just got involved with a program called People to People that sends kids around the world to learn hands on about different cultures. I've never been out of the country, or the state for that matter, and suddenly I have an opportunity to go to France, Italy, and Greece to learn all about their way of life there. So I REALLY want to go. But first I have to raise six thousand dollars and before June! I'm just about to turn thirteen and I'm not really sure how to raise that much money... Please does anyone have any suggestions? I *really really* want to go! I've read the description of the trip and there's so many amazing things I get to see and do and I will learn SO much. I understand there's things like babysitting and lawn mowing and such, but I don't know how to get set up with those jobs and I need to raise like a thousand a month... what should I do??? So, a few days ago my temperature gauge started reading high...but then sometimes it wouldn't even register. My temperature on my car has always been fine up until now. A few days after my gauge went on again off again, the car overheats. It has also been loosing power, it seems. I was told to change the thermostat. What do you think? I have a 1990 Nissan Sentra.

Last job was running out of work for me. They assured me that I would be OK but people in the same situation haven been let go in the past 6 mons. So I found a stable job with a competitor. I need to turn my resignation in in the moring but feeling bad. they were a good group but based on what happened to other I knew they would need to let me go if work wasn't found soon.
