If you wait until that one comes out, there will already be talk about improvements they'll make for the 2nd year. Models often have some nice upgrades in interior, engine choice, and options for the 2nd year. The bad news: it happens again for the 3rd year. Like anything else with fairly quick turnover and improvement, you will not have the latest and greatest for long. In my opinion, whether it's a car or a computer or whatever, you should buy when you're ready instead of waiting for the perfect new model to come out. It'll never happen. That said, if there are some major nice new features on the new one that you want, then maybe it's ok to wait. Resale value will not be impacted too much by having a new style out. In my experience, that doesn't make a lot of difference.

Not counting the time that I locked the doors of a running car in the school parking lot as a toddler, while my mom went in to fetch my two older brothers (since I didn't put it in gear & go anywhere with it, but it did take the fire department coming there to break the window before the door was finally opened!), I'd have to say it was a 1963 Renault Dauphine -- I was 9 years old (1968) & drove the car around to the backyard of the house and did a few laps until someone came out and made me stop. Those darn spoil sports! I thought I was Richard Petty!!!

i cannot answer with certainty. i lived with my gramparents when i was a kid. uncle sam made my grampa into a mechanic in wwii. i used to help him in the garage a lot and used to move the cars around. i was 11. the first vehicle that i can clearly remember driving was the john deere tractor from the 50s. first truck was my uncles chevy was oh probably 75 or so. so i drove probably a hundred cars before i was 12 and dever really kept track. first year i drove was oh 82ish.

The first car i drove was a 1972 Pontiac Grandville.
It was a brand new drivers training car, and I was
the first student to drive it. The car was a real sweet ride, I'll never forget it.
