I think going to a psychic is a sin, when God is there for you and actually warns us against psychics. I also think that it is a sin that most who ask questions about psychics do not spell the word correctly - just joking :)

If you are a Christian, you should not go. You would be trying to assume the power of God your self and be using the psychic to accomplish this. In addition, you can not be sure that the sources for the persons clairvoyant activity is God given. What if it is demonic? How do you know for sure?
You would do better to go to a trusted member of the clergy. Or maybe you could consult with a Christian holy person or mystic.
Also, please beware that there are many frauds out there. I am christian now, but for a 10 years I left the church and I did use psychics. (I have since been to confession.) Anyway, at different times and cities, 3 of these psychics claimed that I had some problems and that if they prayed over candles that my problems would go away. They each wanted around $500! I never paid them, but they were persuasive and I am sure that they must have conned others! One of them took advantage of my sadness about a problem I was having with a significant other to entice me to pay her! So if you are going to use a psychic, do some back ground checks!

If I recall correctly, which may not be the case, I believe that the Bible does not call going to a psychic a sin; rather, what it claims is that many of Jesus' disciples wanted Jesus to tell them their futures, and he told them that he would not, because, while he did know their futures, what will happen to them is their destiny chosen by God, and that knowing the bad in their future will only lead to them fighting God's undefiable plan for them, so they were better off just living their lives and letting them unfold as they went along, rather than torturing themselves with knowledge of the inevitable. That's Jesus' opinion (or rather what the Bible says of it). I'm not Christian, so my advise is not exactly religious council, but I say if it works go for it! Hope this helped!

You know the answer already, but you still consider it.
1) Before my brother was born, my mother had traded in her Christianity for divination just like what you speak of. Her mother had prophesied to her speaking about its evils and the cost, but she did it anyway. After a matter of moments, some stuff happened to her that sounds like a a soap opera that you have seen. But it did not stop, because the cost did end until over ten years, four years after my birth, when she came back to church. Ever since, she has lived in fear, I don't want to see you that way.
2) Your knowledge convicts you. I would suggest that you read 1 and 2 Samuel concentrating on King Saul when the kingdom of Israel was transitioning to David. Saul went to hell after he went to the physic, because he was no longer acceptable in the sight of God.

You mean a "psychic"? I don't see anything wrong with it in and of itself, other than the fact a lot of these psychics really aren't psychics to begin with. Many just do it as a job, and do it for the money. I would be careful about it though. Once in a while is probably fine, but as long as it doesn't become a regular thing.

It's psychic. No, it's not wrong -- just make sure they are gifted and not a fluke. It may take you a reading or two to determine if they know what they are doing.
And why do people insist that you are supposed to stay in the dark? Is it because you are more easily manipulated if you don't search for answers? It's never wrong to find out as much as you can (educate yourself about everything that you can!) I just don't get it.
Quoted:"yeah, its a sin in the bible. It is magic or whatever you want to refer to it as, it is not right to do."
You meant "magick". Magic is what Criss Angel does. Magick is casting your intentions/wants/needs to deity. Isn't praying magick?

no matter what we as people think but the bible which is God's word showswhether true or not,, forbids it, remember Satan and his demons have power too but God warned us to stay away from these things Deuteronomy 18:10-12.

Read about Saul's visit to the woman from Endor. 1 Samuel 28. He went, because he wasn't hearing from the Lord, so it is generally considered a negative. During that visit, the dead Samuel appeared to Saul and prophesied his death and the death of his sons.

This is what I see:
You are likely to be feeling constrained today. It might be that something or someone is stopping you from doing what you want to do. It could be that work or school is eating into all your spare time right now.
Also,
There is a slight danger of you being a little too judgmental and critical of a friend or even your partner today, and enlisting the opinions of someone at home who happens to agree with you could actually aggravate things.
ANYONE can do this. Don't waste your time.
By the way - you owe me $50.

If the Bible says it's a sin, it's a sin and what difference is someone's opinion. Psychic's can tell you true information, but at what cost to your spiritual life? All they can read is the soul. God is a Spirit and He alone has the whole truth!

Just stupid, not wrong. Sorry, but those frauds make a living out of suckering people into thinking they know things that you, subconsciously, told them. Look up "cold reading" on Google - and stop worrying about what some old book says.
