Anyone remember the George Carlin bit about shell shock vs post tramatic stress syndrome? Well I was thinking about it and other various word evolutions(I said the "E" word so it fits R&S) Do you think that we keep changing the words we have for meanings that never change in an effort to make OURSELVES feel better? Ya know, as opposed to "Not hurting anyones feeling" ?
Like Shell Shock, then Battle Fatigue, then Post Tramatic Stress Sydrome... the guy is still all f****** up and in distress no matter what we call it... do our PC words merely seek to gloss over the unpleasentness WE have thinking of it? Cause I am sure he doesnt care... Of course there are many terms we do this with... this was a single example... now I am rambling... or am I "Speaking on beyond the needed point?"

I've heard very conflicting reports...

If there is a difference I was told that I can get the cheapest HDMI cables and visually they are the same as the more expensive ones b/c the signal is digital. Is that true?

BTW I have a Sony Wega 720p 50" HDTV. Thanks!!!

Hi,
I am getting a ferret and I wanted to ask some questions about biting. Do they carry diseases? (Rabies...etc?) What's the best way to stop biting? Can they really break bones by biting? I saw that as an answer earlier lol. Anything else I need to know?

Let us not forget that it was Reagan, Bush 1, and Rumsfeld who supported Saddam's reign in the first place.

Maybe this is a rather odd post but I just read a book called The Embrace about Roderick Ferrell. It made me realize there are people out there all around that really believe they are vampires, or really enjoy deep roleplaying.

I was wanting to speak to one, if possible.

In a murder trial...

In a murder trial, the defense attorney was cross-examining the coroner:

Attorney: Before you signed the death certificate, had you taken the pulse?

Coroner: No.

Attorney: Did you listen to the heart?

Coroner: No.

Attorney: Did you check for breathing?

Coroner: No.

Attorney: So, when you signed the death certificate, you weren't sure the man was dead, were you?

Coroner: Well, let me put it this way. The man's brain was sitting in a jar on my desk. But I guess it's possible he could be out there practicing law somewhere.

The US Government spends double on breast cancer research over prostate and the corporate disparity is much greater. Campbells soup doesn't have Prostate awareness soup cans! Although deaths from breat cancer are 1/3 higher there are far more cases of prostate cancer, over 240,000 per year. The funding and awarness differential is 300 or 400%. So is it a gender issue, an age issue (tends to be later onset) or What?

When I breastfeed, I am always afraid that his nose is being blocked from breathing. (boob up his nose lol)
But my lactation consultant says hes fine. Even if she is right, I'll push myself away from his nose just to make sure he can breath.
Do you ever worry about this or should I stop being so worried? lol

The problem you need to verify is:

sin2x = (2tanx)/(1+tan²x)

You must use double angle identities to verify this. Pathagorean identites may also be used.

*Please not that the perenthesis are just there so you can tell what is on the bottom and what is on the top of the fraction.

How long does it take for hormone levels to get back to normal after breastfeeding?
I just stopped completley breastfeeding 2-3 weeks ago after weaning slowly for about 3 weeks. (I breast fed for a total of about 4 months). The past week I have had off and on cramps, emotional, and moodiness. Is it because I just stopped breasf feeding?? I couldnt be pregnant could I? could it just be a loooong PMS? What is going on with me?

Someone I know just got engaged. Yay! Wait, though. She's 23, he's 20. She's known him for 6 months. Neither of them have met the other's parents. But now they are engaged.

I'm very worried she is making a HUGE mistake. But I'm not that close to her, so I can't say much. And her mind is made up either way.

Can anyone suggest a cheaper alternative to make this work .
