Deviled eggs are so varied. I usually throw mayo, mustard (or ground mustard) grated onion, relish (or my new favorite is chopped wickles) mix it together (food processor or hand mixer makes it real smooth), throw in a ziploc and cut the tip off. Fill the shells.
(I recently saw on Rachael Ray how she does her Deviled eggs, but cutting the top off the egg, cutting a sliver off the bottom to give it stability and fills the whole egg (standing upright) instead of halved on its side, fyi)

For 6 eggs:
1/4 c. mayo
1 tsp mustard
1 tsp white vinegar
pepper and garlic salt to taste
paprika on top
At least thats what I do. My mother in law makes hers with horse radish instead of white vinegar. They are delicious.
You should be okay with mustard, mayo, salt and pepper, it will just be missing a little bit of "zip" in the flavor

For 1 dozen eggs:
2 teaspoons dijon mustard
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 Tbsp minced onion or shallot
1/4 teaspoon tabasco
Salt and pepper
Paprika
You can change what you put in to suit you. What you have would be fine.

I love deviled eggs. That's all I put in them. I don't bother with pepper tho. I do sometimes add a little milk to make them a little more creamy.

yes your ingredients will taste fine. People add all kinds of things to their deviled eggs, here are a few of the additions: garlic or garlic powder, finely chopped celery, minced or dried onion, sweet or dill pickles (chopped fine), sweet or dill pickle juice, sweet or dill relish, hot dog relish, pimento, tomato juice, shredded chicken or tuna and lots of people sprinkle the finished eggs with paprika.
