Maybe this is a rather odd post but I just read a book called The Embrace about Roderick Ferrell. It made me realize there are people out there all around that really believe they are vampires, or really enjoy deep roleplaying.
I was wanting to speak to one, if possible.

what type do you want to talk to? and why ask in the religion and spirituality section?
some people go around shouting they are vampires. psychic vampires don't go around doing that (at least real ones don't) you'd have to find if a person is or not they aren't going to just fly into your window and talk to you. they leave clues if you look enough you will find them.

I don't know what your book told you, but I knew that cult. I hung out at the Vampire Hotel long before those dildo's came along. It was a common hang out. It was an old Boy Scout lodge where kids went to drink beer and make out. It had a nice view of the lake. I went to school in Murray and knew Rod in passing. He was an A$$. He was not just into RPGs. He was not a real vampire. He was a guy who sucked scabby cuts on trashy girls arms. He was an abused, delusional b@$tard. He used the games to make friends, because that was the only way he could make friends. His mother was a child molester and his friends were lonely people who bonded to each other and lived in a fantasy world, because they could not cope with the real world. Because of him and his trailer trash, murdering friends, life in that small town became very different for role players and Pagans, like me. The general population assumed we were all like him. Do not hero worship this dufus. We used to sit and make fun of him as he sat around the Hardee's all night looking pimply and pathetic. Why didn't the big bad vampire kill any of us? He wanted to hurt us, and had hoped to murder a friend of mine. But, Roddy boy was only capable of murdering old men in their sleep and old ladies, from behind, by surprise. He was a weak, sad little man. I hope he was gang raped in prison, often.

The only real vampires I know of,other than peole who drink blood and call themselves vampires,arephysicvampires that feed of your emotions and your arua.There the ony real ones I know of.

I've known a few people who were heavily into LARP--weird but good people--you know the old TV show "Kindred" was based on that book?
