I made some beef stew & it turned out to be too salty. How do I get the salt out?? I've heard about using a potato but I don't know if the potato has to cook with the stew or do you put it in raw & peeled??

i have just shown a mate how to hide a file..told how to unhide it but he doesnt seem to hav the 'folder options' in the tool menu..this is XP we r using...and i tried gettin the files back through folder properties..nad it isnt working...
can anyone help ASAP!
is there ny shortcut keys to access folder options?? or any alternative method?

I want to increase my knowledge, education, intelligence and imagination. I want to do this on my own, if possible. There are two problems with this. First, I have trouble reading because I can't concentrate on what I read. Second, I don't even know where to begin. If you can identify with what I am feeling then please leave some advice. This is my fifth year which is why i'm having trouble....i'm working and that covers rent and food and stuffed and i tapped into my credit cards to fix my car and computer and pay for car insurance..... i get kicked of my parents health insurance next month and i need to get that as well because i do see a doctor regullary for somethings..... i also need to get some money to fix a car i hit..... are there any educational loans out there that dont check with the school... i also need to buy books here again pretty soon. Mom can't help me...... dad is to stubborn to help me and thinks a college student could work well over 40 hours a week which is unrealistic and he is also to into his 7 day a week happy hours..... i'm kinda panicing cause i cant register for next semester cause fin aid sent 2000 in loans back unexpectedly and now i owe the school 2000 before i can....

are there any smokers who don't want to quit smoking?? all my friends who smoke say they really want to give up but they cant and they're all suprised when i say that i actually enjoy my cigs. Do any other smokers not want to quit?? i feel like im the only one enjoying smoking!

I am taking a really hard science course. The professor has us taking only 4 tests and most of the questions on each test is around 20 to 35 questions. The total points you could get are 100. The last test, the class average and the grades were real bad! This past test the average went up a little to a c-. I missed the class average by 4 points. I don't know what to do anymore, it's a pretty tough class and she's a tough teacher. I studied my butt off for this test, I dont get it! Should I stick with it? Study much more harder? or this teacher and class is a joke, no1 can pass?! I'm so confused and its sorta making me depressed...

They don't follow the teachings of the Bible or even recognize all of it's Scripture. They have doctrines that are not Words of God or the Bible such as purgatory and claiming that they are the Universal Church of Christ. They say they are for God but with popes and recent popes claiming they are the only way to God or self exalting themselves with power over the Church of Christ is an apostasy: an abandonment of what one has professed and departure from faith in God who alone can rectify a sin, not the pope. What do you think??

Personally i think if you don't sing you aren't a singer, and rapping isn't anything but spoken word or poetry over a beat...so does this make them musicians ? What makes them a musician....if I go to karaoke and sound like garbage, that doesn't make me a musician...although if i was just talking it would make me a rapper....

As far as the producers go...they rarely actually play instruments, and most of what they do is done either on pro-tools or with a sampling machine and a 4 track...so are they musicians or just low end computer programmers.
