and i was wondering if you have any ideas. i am doing a research paper, and this is one of the topics i was given. the description says, "...investigating the ethical implications of killing and eating animals for food."

some things to think about:
is it possible to kill and eat animals in ethical fashion?
consider: manner in which animals are killed and how they have evolved over time
philosophy of ethics
economic concerns (cheap meat for those who cant afford other food)
evolution
depictions of carnivorism

im not asking for you to do my research paper, but it would help me a lot if you can point me in the right direction by giving me some articles or books that you know of that deals with this. thanks.

I know #1 is premetitaed, and #2 is none premetitated, but murder is murder! If convicted, they should get life or the needle regardless. I was watching law and order. 3 kids were shot, one died, two others didnt. But it was a hate related crime turned out cause they were jewish and blk. The "perp" got 25 to life. What do you think he should get if he pled guilty?

I wasn't sexually active until my early 20's - sex was always uncomfortable, alot of guilt and repression - i've had maybe a handful of partners, one or two "steadies" and am now in late 30's
I've never felt that I "got it" regarding sex - like there was some huge aspect I was missing out on - it was an empty gesture - it was never what I'd call "fun" considering the amount of stress, anxiety and tension associated with the entire course of events leading up to/during/after the event
I think it's basically too late for me at this point to have a sex life, I never really "dated" either, not casually, other than mingling if there was a large group
I even had a period thinking I might be gay, (had gay friends, was open to the possibility, but I know that ain't the issue either)
I'm fairly sure it's some repressed issues from growing up that I'm just now beginning to realize, really ****ed my head in terms of having "normal" sex relations, well, "normal" social relations, period

I have 5 credit cards: 3 are nearly maxed out; the other 2 each has a balance that's half of the total credit limit on that card.

Which is better to do: a) pay off the remaining balance on the 2 cards; or b) pay down the 3 near-maxed out cards? (all 5 cards have similar APRs)

Me and my ex are still pretty good friends, but we've both realized that our relationship can not be boy-f girl-f. Part of the reason is because he doesn't want to commit to a long term relationship, which I'm okay with...I'm glad he's being honest, he just wants to have fun right now, and we are both young 16 and 17. We obviously admit that we are atracted to each other physically. So is it wrong to still kiss him, and "mess around" as long as we both aren't dating anyone els? my husband has spinal stenosis, bulging discs and a peripheral nerve that is causing a foot drop. The neurosurgeon feels an operation might not even help. My husband is 72. He has referred us to a neurologist and a physical therapist. He's not in any pain but cant stand up or take a step. The neurologist cant see him for 2 weeks. Anyone know if rest will cure a foot drop. Any other info would be greatly appreciated.

Did anone, as a child, have a crush on someone from a kids show? Yea, I did and I could still remember her name (lol). I was like 5, in the 80s or maybe it was early 90s like in 93 or something.
