Hi experts.
Recently the passenger side tail light of my 2006 toyota corolla LE stopped functioning completely. The brake light, blinker and reverse lights do not illuminate at all. I don't know much about cars or electronics but I'm sensing this might have something to do with a fuse of some kind.
Does anyone know of things I could try myself before giving into the repair mechanic?

Thanks so much for your help.
CF

When I try to start my car all it does is make a weird buzzin gnoise. I'm not sure where it's coming from. I checked the battery and it's fine, the windshield whipers and all the lights turn on just fine. My car is a 1978 AMC Concord.

You've been 'laid off' from a great job and there's no work in sight. You've exhausted all your resources and unemployment is giving you a hassle about your claim. You have the usual debts, mortgage, cars, credit cards, spouse and children to care for. You have access through a casual friend to several Maltese, a couple of Poodles, and a Yorkshire Terrier. All are intact and in fact, the girls are already in heat. They're a real steal- but they don't have papers, only minimal shots, and your acquaintence laughs when you ask about soundness testing. Do you snatch these dogs up and breed them? The holidays will be here sooner than you realize and "Designer Puppies" would be great sellers. You could probably make enough to pay the bills for a few months AND put gifts under the tree.

Do you do it?

Why or why not? As usual, thanks for the input- every opinion counts- I don't delete or report what I don't agree with...

is being attacked by tiny light brown things. They are making holes in my blooms which won't flower now. They look like worms with tiny legs. They are small and it looks like part of its body is in the bloom and the other part is sticking out. My poor beautiful plant is not looking good right now. I miss the beautiful fragrant flowers. Anyone know what I can spray on it to kill these nasty critters?

A manufacturing factory produces a product, which can get the profit of $1000 for every unit that sold (that unit is non-defective). The factory produces 11 units of that product with one defective unit. In order to find the defective unit, the factory uses an investigating scheme on production items before they are sold.

The investigating scheme as follow:
- More than one unit can be checked for every single checking process.
- Every single checking process will cost $1000.
- After the checking process, each of the non-defective product can be sold and gain the profit of $1000.
- During the checking process, if the defective unit is investigated, all the units in that checking process will be considered as defective item and cannot be sold.

Based on the investigating scheme, what is the best strategy for the factory so that they can gain the maximum profit even in the worst situation. Find the profit that they can gain (in the worst situation).

Its already been labeled "one for the ages" and "game of the year" however anyone who watched it saw the 3 different tackles in the end zone by Indy players called NE pass interferences. There was also 4 blatant mugging of NE receivers where the DB held one arm completely and the receiver couldn't catch the ball. There was also some really REALLY big drive stopping 3rd down penatlies after NE was driving and it killed thier drive or held them to a FG. Honestly was this not the worst officiated game of any proffesional sport you have watched? It really really seemed fixed to me and the whole time I was thinking in the 4th quarter NE is gonna get some calls only enough to where they can't beat thet 5.5 point spread. Sure enough... they get a couple calls, they win the game very easily. I was rooting for Indy but wow.. after the 3rd quarter and 12 to 1 penalties or whatever it was and NE breaking their franchise penalty record... I no longer wanted them to win, not by cheating at least.

Consumers are being ripped off by America’s big business. Prices in grocery stores are going crazy. Gasoline and heating oil is almost unaffordable. Cars are expensive; repairs are even more expensive. Things like garbage collection, telephone and TV service, are too high. Prices go up faster than wages. CEOs and stock holders are getting richer while most Americans are struggling to just get by. Many are cutting back on essentials so they can keep warm and have enough for the family to survive on. Isn't it time the consumers rebelled and made a national effort to force prices to a reasonable level? How would you suggest we do this? Possibly boycott stores, solicit as many people nation wide as possible to boycott one chain until it yields then take on another; distribute information on what stores seem to be ripping people off the most? Can we boycott a certain gas company nation wide until that company yields then take on another?

My son went to see the Schoolhouse Rock musical at a local theatre as part of a school field trip. He talked about a song where a bunch of hippies came out onstage and acted silly. I have a vague remembrence of a Schoolhouse Rock cartoon from my childhood with a group of hippies in it. I can't find it on google or youtube, and I can't think of it. It's really bugging me and I just have to know!
