Taking inspiration from V for Vendetta, 18000+ people have each donated $100 to Ron Paul today, November 5th. The Paul for President campaign has raised nearly $2 million from ordinary voters in just the last 5 hours. Are you one of them?

Reply to below: The 5th of November event is not affiliated with the Ron Paul campaign, its a grassroots effort. However, you don't donate to them, you donate direct to Ron Paul.

An hour and a half to go and he's looking good for between 4 and 4.5 by midnight.

For the first time in my life, I gave money to someone running for elected office ($100). And I am not very far removed from living paycheck to paycheck.

I also signed up to be a volunteer today.

Let's stop letting the media tell us who to vote for, take this country back, and send the corrupt politicos in DC strait to HADES!

GO RON PAUL!

I clicked on that link. Do you know that there is a disclaimer on it that says that it is NOT affiliated with the official Ron Paul Campaign????

If it is not affiliated with his official campaign, then how do you know you are actually donating to HIM and not some other person? Is this some kind of scam? How do you know his campaign will ever see those funds?

If you want to donate to a campaign, donate to them DIRECTLY. Not through some other organization that may or may not be legitimate. I will not be using that link, or any other link, to donate to a campaign. When I donate, it is to a person at an official campaign office.

Nope. I can't vote for him anyway. Wrong state. I live in CA, Ron Paul is running for reelection for a seat in Texas.

Besides, a fool and his money are easily separated, and I am no fool. . .

Edit: to the poster right above me,
you are right, and that is what thisnovember5th.com tells you to do. Go to http://www.ronpaul2008.com and donate.

Edit: Does anybody think he'll hit 6 Million today?

$200 this morning. He deserves it- I made an investment because of him and made 8% ($1337.03) so far.

It's passed 2.5 million I think now!
