He not only files and pays FEDERAL taxes, but if he lives in a state that has INCOME TAXES (most states do but a few do not)... then he also pays STATE taxes on money he has earned from ANY sources he still has in his HOME STATE... for example... lets say the current President's CRAWFORD RANCH was a money making business venture... Bush would then be paying State taxes to the state of Texas for the money EARNED from the business of the ranch....however, Texas does NOT have a state income tax.... BUT. President Clinton would have paid State Taxes to Arkansas if he had any business ventures IN his home state while HE was president as Arkansas DOES have a State income tax

Yes.
But like most politicians at the federal level their incomes are above the caps for Social Security and Medicare so ineffect they don't pay those taxes. Their incomes also allow access to good lawyers to help them avoid taxes.

of course they do. and if you go back and check the income taxes paid by the presidential nominees from both parties last election cycle, you'll find George Bush paid much more than Kerry did, even though Kerry has much more assets and has earned and has access to much more funds. Search even deeper and see what other fun facts you can find out about candidates. I bet you'll be surprised.
