yes, "when the moon is in the seventh house and jupiter aligns with mars, then peace will guide the planets and love will steer the stars....."
HOROSCOPES are generalized lies that fit everyone on the planet. They're crap. All they're good for is stealing money from gullible, ignorant people who are afraid of life and what it might bring.
Here's the challenge. I'll give a dollar to anyone who uses astrology to predict anything specific happening to anyone IN THE FUTURE.
No one will ever collect, because Jupiter's gravity, magnetic field and windstorms don't have a darn thing to do with who I fall in love with, whether "friends will give me bad advice," or some kid being born today who will someday be president of the local Rotary.

The only link that science has to horoscopes is that horoscopes are categorized on the scientifically verifiable orbits of planets, the sun, and the moon across the constellations in the night sky. Nothing else about horoscopes is even remotely scientific.

The scientific explanation would lie within the science of psychology rather than astronomy. That is, believing in horoscopes is simply a form of human behavior. Horoscopes themselves have no scientific basis.

Horoscopes are not even accurate. It is only that believers gloss over the incorrect predictions and dwell on the few random correct ones. Horoscopes are more about the psychology of the astrologer and "customer" than anything else. Both want to believe and they unconsciously work together to come up with what the "customer" wants to hear.

It is blasphemy to use the words "science" and "astrology" in the same sentence. Astrology is a superstition... a myth... a load of crap. Focus on the real world. No one can predict your future, but you are in control of it. If you sit around and wait for fate or superstition to make your future, you will become a burden to society. Get out there and get an education so you don't appear foolish when asking questions.

There's plenty of scientific evidence that horoscopes don't work. Is that what you meant?

There are definitely psychological aspects to it, the way some people are desperate to believe anything, no matter how nonsensical it is. They don't care whether or not it even works; they just want to believe.
As far as any other science goes, yeah, right...
