I don't care about what people say about me, OK may be I do but just a little.

Just to give you an idea, in the past two years I changed from long hair to very short hair with stubble to long hair with stubble to shaven head with stubble to short hair clean shaven face.

Every time almost the same set of people keep on saying "you look better now" It's completely ridiculous. This proves. They lie all the time. People lie all the time. The compliments are nothing but a passing comment.

Don't you hate that?

I want to major in psychology in the University, and I may want to be a doctor.

What I really want to do is;

1. Just like a therapy counselor, hear individual problems and advice, counsel them. But I do not want to be a mere therapy counselor, because it is a low-paying job.

2. I want to be able to prescribe drugs or health food, or at least be able to recommend to people.

What kind of job will I get with majoring the psychology?

Here is the list of what I want from the future job;

1. High-paying salary.

2. Growth possibility. It means, whatever I do, I wish there is a possible way to get promoted or get bigger scale, like moving into much larger space office, dealing with more high-class patients, spreading my reputation, etc.

Is it possible to become both a counselor and physical doctor, that I can prescribe a medicine?

Other than the above, by getting degree on psychology, what else can I become?

Thanks!

How much milk should a 3.5 month old baby consume in a day? I always feel that my son does not eat as much. His birth weight was 7 lbs 3 Oz and he is around 14 lbs now. I feed him about 12 Oz of breast milk and rest 12-14 is formula. Is Enfamil better than Similac?

by vetoing everything congress puts on his desk, because he's mad at us for electing Democrats ?

Not a single veto while Republicans held Congress... and not a signle signature because Democrats now hold Congress..

Now everything is a veto, ...even the bi-partisan bills.

Ironically he "chides" democrats for failing to bring him a budget to approve... as if he's not going to just veto it.

Speaking of yarn, it’s EVERYWHERE this month, because craft fairs spring up during the holidays. To a guy, yarn is the gateway to Napville. Nothing in a guy’s world is made of it. (Think yarn guitar, yarn football, Yarn Warrior video game. )

Yet craft fairs are a Yarn-o-Rama! They’re bursting with it. In fact, craft fairs are loaded with materials most guys don’t even know exist—and might even fear. (I get mysteriously nervous around Velcro.)

My wife, Sally, and I went to a craft fair recently, and it was like I stumbled into a new world. I mean, I used a glue gun for the first time last week and was amazed:

Thought #1: Wow! The glue stick goes in a solid and comes out a liquid!

Thought #2: I wonder if I can cram cheese into this? I’d be the Snack King!

We passed hundreds of tables of millions of crafts made of billions of snaps, buttons, fabrics, fried eggs, moustaches. . . . Then it hit me: Girls have secret craft powers! They can find ANYTHING and make something out of it—just like that MacGyver guy! A crumpled wrapper, lint, goat hooves and a jar of gravy somehow become a wreath. A noodle and motor oil become a Christmas ornament. How do they do it?!

Really, some crafts are clever and, I’ll bravely admit, cute even, although I think I learned a shortcut to cuteness—just glue googly eyes to something. Seriously, take a rock. Add googly eyes. Now it’s a cute craft! It works with anything: pinecones, cotton balls, even bratwurst.

Some guys can handle “cute” stuff. But there’s this line where cute becomes “too cute,” and strange things happen inside of a guy such as dizziness, stomach problems or the desire to grow mangos. Here’s an example:

Cute: Stuffed puppy (bow around neck may cross the line)

Too Cute: Fluffy bear covered in flowers, wearing an apron with geese on it, holding hearts and sunflowers. (Bring on the mangos!)

One thing I REALLY liked about the craft fair is that food = craft. Cookies, fudge, candy—now that’s a craft! Except it seems like craft fairs have some small print in the rulebook that says, “All foods must contain nuts.” Brownies with nuts. Caramels with nuts. Nut logs rolled in nuts, topped with ground nuts, packed in a bag made of pressed nuts. If you don’t like nuts, you’re stuck eating a handful of homemade jam (probably nut- flavored).

This makes it even harder for guys to go to craft fairs. Maybe there could be special ones such as “Hot Dog Fest,” “Stuff Made Out of Engine Parts Fair” or the “Homemade Fireworks Fiesta” with a sign posted outside: NO NUTS OR FLUFFY BEARS ALLOWED.

But maybe craft fairs just need a hipper image (see list above). There could be some cool new reality TV show like “Craft Island” where contestants are surrounded only by sand, a harmonica, a strip of denim and a cup of bacon bits. Then, somehow, one of them makes her own homemade yarn, builds a 40-foot yacht out of it and escapes! I’ll start working on the script today—right after I finish sticking this cheese into Sally’s glue gun.

I am a non-muslim living in a muslim majority country but i have never asked this question to my muslim friends as it is very sensitive over here to ask this type of question. Pork, alcohol, gambling are all prohibited in Islam but why are muslims observe stricter abstinence from pork than consuming alcohol or gambling. Muslims often feel uneasy even at the mere mention of the word " pork " but many do not hesitate to consume alcohol or gamble Is the sin of consuming pork more than consuming alcohol / gambling ? I know in Islam pig is regarded as a dirty animal and hazardous to humans. In today's world, smoking and drugs are life threathening acts but many Muslims indulge in them but at the same time do not consume pork. If Muslims do not eat pork because they think its dirty and will bring harm to their health why can't they think the same way for smoking and drugs ?

Please do not take this question negatively and answer with an open mind

According to her campagn:
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2007/11/05/clinton-broadly-supports-states-efforts-to-license-illegals/#more-2904
She is saying: she 'broadly supports' it and that the plan “makes a lot of sense"

ok, Let's review the transcript:

1) Hillary gives give run around answer, that she now says meant (according to her campaign): "the plan “makes a lot of sense" "

2) Dobb disagrees that it is a good idea

3) Clinton responds: " Well, I just want to add, I did not say that it should be done"(compare with cnn link above)

4) Dodd: "No, no, no. You said — you said yes…"
Dodd: "… you thought it made sense to do it. "
5) Clinton: "No, I didn't, Chris."

so at the end of the debate…quote:

Dodd: "… you thought it made sense to do it. "
Clinton: "No, I didn't, Chris."

SO IS SHE LYING NOW? OR WAS SHE THEN?

(Note: I'm not a republican, and Bush is NOT running for president, so don't give me a bunch of BS about Bush, as it is not relevant

Should a married woman (or man) have a separate savings account (or investment vehicle) from any joint accounts that they may have with their spouse? I read this somewhere and I thought it was interesting. The premise of the article was that a woman needs a separate account to establish her good credit and to have money in case she needs to leave her husband. I'm just wondering what others think of this.

This applies to non-retirement accounts. I certainly think each member of a marriage should have their own, individual retirement account.

Does Hillary Clinton have cooties?
Does Hillary Clinton have cooties?
So, my girlfriend and I were doing a search on the origin of the term, "cooties" and suddenly this question pops into my head.

Does Hillary Clinton have cooties? The facts show that her own husband would rather be with Monica than her.... so? hmmm...

When we were children it started with all of the other gender having cooties, and over time only the less clean children had cooties. Now that we are adults the cooties must have gone somewhere...

(Forgive me for this question. As a 27 year old man I should be more serious, but unfortunately I have a great sense of humor which becomes exponentially sillier after i've had large quantities of sugar. It should thusly be noted that I just ate a half dozen custard donuts and 8 strawberry pixie sticks.) ;-)

If you believe that man is causing global warming, how much of your investment portfolio is invested in corporations whose goal is to reduce pollution and green house gasses?

Or do you believe that it isn't the job of the individual to act on so called global warming, that only the government should force people to comply with what they think is best for us?

There are so many corporations that are developing technology to reduce pollution and green house gasses that this is now a multibillion dollar business. Not only is this business very profitable, but it is now providing excellent returns for their investors.

So tell us how much do you have invested in corporations that are focused on green technology?

I'm in for about 10%-15% at any given time. Like I said, this is a very profitable enterprise to be in.

How can God send us to purgatory to pay for our sins when He does not remember our sins? It is clear when we repent God forgives, forgets, and cleanses us from our sins. It says when we confess our sins He cleanses us from all unrighteousness. Why do we need to be cleansed from sin after death if He already cleansed us in life?

Jeremiah 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Psalm 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

I've read that its been proposed that carbon dioxide be collected and stored underground to keep it from acting like a greenhouse gas in the atmosphere.

It seems like making tons of stuff from non-biodegradable plastics, (like we do now), would actually be equally effective for sequestrating carbon.

The only problem I can see with the plastics is that they are made out of organic compounds that we pump out of the ground, meaning that the process via which we produce the plastics does not reduce the net carbon in circulation on the surface, (ie the plastics are made with carbon that would have originally been buried and thus originally sequestered).

It seems like this point may be able to be remedied by finding ways to produce plastics using organic elements that come from the surface and don't have to be dug up. In other words, it seems like we would want to figure out how to make plastics from trees and plants.

Does anyone see a problem with this line of reasoning?

My husband and I disagree. I say that it is intended to make it so that you don't have to worry about clogs when small chunks of soft foods are rinsed down the drain. I put the dishes in the sink with a little rice, or pasta, or green beans or whatever, and just wash it down as I wash dishes, then run the disposer. (Our disposer takes whole strawberries and egg shells too, with no problem, but I try to throw that stuff away)

He wants every bit scraped off the plate because he doesn't think the disposer can handle the food (and of course, he cares because if it did plug up the drain, he'd be the one fixing it).

Who's right?
