i have a total grade points of 108..i dont know how they come out with this?

my hours is 31.0 that is why i have GPA 3.48, but how did my school came out of 108 pts.

For each class you take, you get earned credits and credit hours. If you get an A in a 3 credit hour course, you get 4*3=12 earned credits.

Do this for all your classes and you get 108 earned credits.

108 is the number of your accumulated grade points.
For example, you took Algebra I, 3 hours a week, and got A. Thus, you earned 3*4 = 12 grade points.
