How much milk should a 3.5 month old baby consume in a day? I always feel that my son does not eat as much. His birth weight was 7 lbs 3 Oz and he is around 14 lbs now. I feed him about 12 Oz of breast milk and rest 12-14 is formula. Is Enfamil better than Similac?

He is definately getting enough. My daughter is 13 months and weighs 19 pounds. At this age, I remember she had to get at least 24 oz.

Formula is formula. Look at the ingredients. They are made of the same thing. It jsut depends on your preference.

If you're breastfeeding and nursing then he's most likely getting enough to eat. Every child is different and as long as he's gaining weight normally and messing 6 diapers a day...he's fine.

And no Enfamil and Similac are basically the same...they are regulated by the FDA...so they HAVE to have certain ingredients. If your child prefers one to the other....then buy that one...but I've even used generic formula and have healthy, smart children.
