by vetoing everything congress puts on his desk, because he's mad at us for electing Democrats ?
Not a single veto while Republicans held Congress... and not a signle signature because Democrats now hold Congress..
Now everything is a veto, ...even the bi-partisan bills.
Ironically he "chides" democrats for failing to bring him a budget to approve... as if he's not going to just veto it.

This is a question that Americans have been debating for 7 years. Are Bush's policy failures really failures. Are gas prices high because Bush is an idiot, or was it as a result of deliberate action? Did he invade Iraq because he is a moron, or because it would help Haliburton and the gas companies? Did he have FEMA obstruct the relief effort in New Orleans because he is incompent, or because he hates Blacks? Did he fail to protect us from terrorists because he didn't care, or because he knew that a terrorist attack would boost his popularity and allow him to institute programs that Americans wouldn't support otherwise (like spying on Amrican citizens without warrents, and the torture of political prisoners)?
Sometimes, it is hard to tell.

The Democrats are trying to do the will of the people. Some Republicans in Congress along with the President are doing everything they can to obstruct the will of the people. Unfortunately for even some of the more cooperative Republicans their party is going to suffer dearly for that kind of attitude by Democratic victories all over the country next year.
Frankly on the budget issue the Congress ought to make some demands. Like we'll approve more money for your little Iraq debacle if you approve of our increase in Schip. Compromise and deal making are what Washington politics is supposed to be all about. Having everything your way just makes enemies.

He is mad cause we blocked congress from passing bills that would make the illegal immigrants legal, not just once but over 6 times cause it was hidden in other bills.

time for the dems to play hardball and simply refuse to even bring his emergency spending requests to fund the war in iraq to the floor of the house and refuse to allow any sort of vote on them.
this they can do - and nothing in the world the minority repubes try could change that.
the problem is that the dems don't think we have their back.
i would support them 100% on this...

WOW, Everything? REALLY? Nope, not even close. Bush has used the veto 5 times, 4 since the democrats have controlled congress. Sure is a LONG way from everything.

America is a continent and as such it has no citizens. If you meant the US citizens then it could be but it is more likely that he is just unable to do what politicians ought to do, compromise.
