she wanted to know that if by getting married she can work in a factory or in other words have the right to work in a place where they only accept 18 year olds and over. Supposely getting married gets you emancipated when you're underage, so she wanted to know does that give you the right to get an apartment under your name, get a factory job, get a car under your name, ect. ect. Can anyone help? Thanks!!

I just saw the movie The Queen, and I want to know general opinion about her.I think she has been one of the best monarchs in United Kingdom history.I think too, her son(heir apparent I think) Prince Charles will be, on the other hand, a very very bad king because he has no charm, no people's touch and has a bad taste(prefering Camilla over the beautiful Diana is quite disgusting).

I was hired for a new restaurant, I filled out the W2, signed papers, all that stuff and was told they would call me soon to tell me my training schedule. Well, they have not called and I have been leaving messages for the manager to please call me and let me know whats going on.
Dont employers have a responsibility to let you know if you have the job or not? I mean I didnt go out and look for a job because I didnt need it, I need to start working and I'm sick of sitting around waiting.

why does God abandon us?
let's put it this way, up to this point I have been very religious in my life. Always had faith in God, always thought that he'd at least give a sh!t about giving a shyt about me. but nothing. And now, you know what, i am done with religion. I am probably going to to to hell but u kn what I will go with a smile on my face and at least know that I am not responsible for causing misery to millions of people and never listening to any prayers. God, Jesus, mohammed, Allah, ... w.e you believe in; they may exist and they probably do but one fact is constant they have screwed over millions of people and are NOT just. I can't believe it took me 20 years to realize this basic simple concept.

My friend is adopting Korean twin girls and she likes the names Keia and Maui. She knows Keia means "this" in Hawaiian, and obviously Maui is a town in Hawaii but she still likes the Pacific Island feel of the names. And besides they're Korean not Hawaiian, so it really doesn't matter. She wonders what other people would think..... So this is where you come in....

Left my marriage 7 years ago,got away from a controlling man after 13 years of marriage,hardest thing I have ever had to do,but needed to get back to being me again.Since then,havent been in a relationship...my own choosing,just not found the right person.I have a good family and social life,good friends etc....but am beginning to resign myself that love will not come my way...and before anyone says it ....I do not need a man to make my life...I look at it as enhancing my life...so...can love pass you by?

I am 23 years of age and have been married for only 3 months. Before I met this man I lived a different life in a different Country. I was (and still am) attracted to good looks, and guys with a lot of money. The man (32 years of age) I married is not exactly the most attractiv, but I decided not to judge by looks. It is the person I married, but he has totally changed. He earns alright, but he wastes his money on stupid things. And I can't see much of a future if he keeps on doing this. Because I am stuck with the bills. I am paying off a car. His car is a piece of sh*** and doesn't work. I am working 6 days a week nowadays, 2 different jobs and studying, and doing all the house work. All he does is work, sleep and eat. . And there is nothing happening in the bedroom. I have so many goals, like completing my studies (accounting), buying a house and having a family. But if he keeps on wasting his money like that, I don't know if this has a future. Please tell me, what do you think?
