I just saw the movie The Queen, and I want to know general opinion about her.I think she has been one of the best monarchs in United Kingdom history.I think too, her son(heir apparent I think) Prince Charles will be, on the other hand, a very very bad king because he has no charm, no people's touch and has a bad taste(prefering Camilla over the beautiful Diana is quite disgusting).

What do you think? Discuss.

I have not seen The Queen do very much except be rich and every one else are nothing but dirt. They have a prime minster and Parliament to take care of the real business. The so called Prince Charles is just as you describe him. Prince or not he is the bottom of the barrel type. He has been caught several time making bad remarks about the public and the news media. If he dislike people so much the Prince should keep his self under the porch. At least that is what I think. I don't really know them but what I have seen of them.

I think The Queen has done an admirable job as monarch. As for the film, I haven't seen it, but I question people thinking they know her from a film. How do we know what anyone thinks or says unless we're there to hear it ourselves?

In the hysteria around Diana's death people thought she was being uncaring because she didn't come to London earlier. Well, how bloody selfish of the people! She was at Balmoral, comforting her grandsons who had just lost their mother. But no, the media downplayed that and made it look like she didn't care.

And let's not forget, Diana was her ex-daughter-in-law. In most families, when people divorce they cease to be part of that family. Why should we expect different from the Royal Family?

You want to know about The Queen, look at her life and her work.

As for Charles, what he does almost doesn't matter right now because he is not king. When he becomes King he will be a different kind of King. In the meantime, he has worked hard to be a good Prince of Wales. And he has put his money where his mouth is. He was one of the first to develop a scheme, The Prince's Trust, to give a helping hand to under-privileged inner city kids. He helped them start business or go for advanced education so they could follow their passions.

Charles also got into sustainable agriculture long before anyone else. As a consequence, agricultural experts come to his estates to study land management and sustainable farming techniques.

He has invested in liveable communities and decried ugly, shoddy architecture. He has promoted the arts. He was also brave enough to do the unthinkable to risk everything by getting out of an unhappy marriage. He and the boys are all happier because of it, and so, I think, was Diana.

What more do you want from him?

Well, I think the Queen has one of the most horrible jobs in the world; there are a lot of privileges with her role as monarch, but the price of this is that she is subject to the most amazing public scrutiny; she has to guard her public pronouncements to avoid offending the British parliament; she is still working hard and is meeting people, shaking hands, entertaining guests and being entertained.

I think that Prince Charles will also be a good monarch, when his time comes. I think it was a great shame that he didn't marry Camilla first time round, because they seem very happy together. But then, we wouldn't have had two bright young princes William and Harry to twinkle at!

I thought that "The Queen" was a very poor portrayal of her. Having seen film footage of the real Queen in the past I can see no resemblance to the person I that I think the Queen is. O.K., maybe they got a little of the hair and makeup right but the movie was sensationalistic and supposition at best. How does anyone know what really happened behind closed doors. It will never matter whether Prince Charles is a good or bad King. What matters is right now he busts his @ss for charity. I would dare anyone to try to keep the schedule of public events these guys have, and have your life scheduled six months in advance. A normal person would fake their death and run away and hide! That's my opinion.

I like the Queen of England. Even so I am not British. She has been the longest reining monarch besides Prince Renee from Monaco. Therefore , I hold her up in high regards. However, her up bringing and that of Prince Philipp have been rather stiffly. No wonder that her son Prince Charles has absolutley no touch with people. If I may say so, I think he is anti social anyway. And who would prefer Camilla over Princess Di anyway? Besides, glad that Di made wonderfull good looking kids. Rather than Camilla and him. Darn it, I think still Princess Di was killed through their hands. How sad.

they have all claimed some style of divine precise, on condition that medieval circumstances, and this is as obscene an insult to something of the British human beings as i will think of of. The workplace of spectacular governor of the Church of england isn't something to do with divine precise, the two, this is merely yet another factor of constitutional regulation and prepare, and it may desire to get replaced. We, the human beings, can exchange it by Parliament, yet first we could desire to shield the human beings's administration of Parliament by wresting it from the present gang of criminals, regardless of occasion. that's time for the Roundheads and Levellers and Diggers to upward push lower back, kick the rump of the Rump, march our masters to Tower Hill and choose some common Russet-lined Captains who under no circumstances heard of one guy born booted and spurred to holiday yet another. and then save a particular watch on them, too! He who could valiant be, permit him come hither! value your pikes!
