For history class I have to write an essay giving the pros and cons of Manifest Destiny. Could anyone help....please???

One con is that it is similar to when the Spanish conquistadors tried to take over Mexico because they were using religion as an excuse to conquer lands not belonging to them. Now, the Americans were using the same excuse...

Sure. The pros was it was a manifest and the cons were it was the destiny.

Then they made the movie about it and I suggest you not watch it, as it's all Hollywood.
