...bill of receipt stating that she releases all legal interest as a result of the damage to her car etc. Two other women were hit as well as a result of the domino effect.

Car 1 hit car 2 and car 2 hit car 3 and car 3 hit car 4.

I settled with Car 2 with cash and an agreement on paper.

Am I responsible for Car 3 and car 4?

I am doing a small essay type thing for remembrance day on world war two, and my role in my group is to provide general facts about the war, such as the years the war lasted, the names of some major battles, what countries were involved and what countries were vicorious.
I know that it was between 1939-1945(right?)
that it started on september first when the nazi's invaded poland, adn that a few days later on sept. 3 britain and france were at war with germany.
I would like to know:
-the main allie countries
-the main axis(or whatever the term is) countries
-a summary or the war in simple english(I have done tons of research and don't understand it)
-I figure the good guys won, but wich countrie were victorious?

I know most are going to say its the celebration of the birth of Jesus. It is actually a Pagan Hioliday celebrating St Nick (Sankt Nikolaus): Was born in the 3rd century. A little further in depth study, and you will learn a lot of how early Pagan traditions became symbolic in the Christianized/Protestant version of Christmas (and other traditional holidays). Santa Clause on Christmas has no significance with Jesus Christ. The amanita muscaria mushroom was very poisonous (German word for poison is gift) which grows only under guess what? A pine tree(X-mas tree). Santas elves revolve around the krampus (thought to be St Nicks nemesis by some and helper by others). The Amanita muscaria mushroom was a drug if used in slight quantities. Reindeer who ate the mushroom were seen strangely leaping in the fields (flying reindeer).
Human use of the drug required it to be dried out. It was hung in a cloth sack by the fire place(stockings). By the way the colors of the mushroom red and white.

I don't believe that to be true. I don't believe with age comes wisdom by any means. I'm 21 and find it hard to believe that anyone who's older then me, automatically knows better or automatically has a better undertsanding about life. I've seen how a lot of people in their 30+ live and question that motto.
I think that wisdom in its self comes in many different forms. . . but what do I know. . .

So "with age comes wisdom?"

I have a single male friend that I've been in a platonic friendship with for approx. 10 yrs. He's 45 and I'm 40. In the past several years he didn't want me at his place onless he came to get me (I can count on one hand how many times). When my father passed two years ago, he didn't come to the memorial service or to the house and I didn't hear from him until two months later (Feb.14) when he called. He's always buying me gifts but they're material things. Recently, on my 40th birthday he just called after midnight to sing "Happy Birthday." Every year we have celebrated by going out. When I called him on his birthday (2 days later), he acted like he didn't know me. He's been e-mailing me and sending text messages and I've been ignoring them. I thinks it's time to end the so called friendship. What do you think?
