The plastic trim around the radio and heater controls simply pulls off, be careful it will break if you pull too hard. Remove the two bolts that hold the radio in the dash, carefully slide the radio out and disconnect the speaker/power wiring, antenna and ground wire. Go to your local Walmart and buy the wiring and trim kits plus a pack of butt connectors (wiring connectors) for your Acclaim, about ten dollars each, butt connectors about two bucks and attach to the wiring of your CD player along with the trim kit. I have used this method for six or eight mopars over the years and found it to be the easiest method yet.
