everytime i click my desktop icons it opens up the properties, and i have to right click in order to actually open the icon, how can i fix this problem?

hi i know this girl and when she is drunk she usualy calls me atleast once or more around midnight at weekends. one time she was drunk she rang about 20 times but denied it was her, i wound her up so much, she told me to shh and said im an idiot, but it was her. i dont know why she ring me so much and denies it was her.

then yesterday she asked if i could do something for her but i was busy and explained i couldnt, then later even though i said nope she calls around 10pm when she said she was going drinking.

whenever i pickup it is always her friends on the phone speaking and they act daft lol. but that is also another thing i dont understand, why do her friends talk to me off her phone instead of her?? i ask why she calls on private but she denies it all the time.

Reasons why Gay people shouldn't marry:
1. Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.
2. Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.
3. Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.
4. Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.
5. Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britany Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.
6. Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.
7. Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.
8. Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.
9. Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.
10. Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.

Okay this girl @ my school acted like my friend, then bad mouthed me to my best friend and told her not to hang out with me anymore. I don't talk to this girl anymore but she is now trying to break up my best friend and her beau. My best friend still talks to her a little but doesn't seem to give the time of day to me. On my home computer (Windows98se, 256 MB RAM, 800 MHz Pentium III Processor). I haven't changed any settings on my system (except updating the Firefox browser). They don't do this when I look at the from my computer at work. This seems to have started within the last 2 weeks.

okay, so i have a dilemma. i have two travel options to choose between. i can either go to australia and new zealand in summer 2008, or wait and go to spain, italy, france, and/or england in summer 2009. i don't know which to choose between, because i want to do both really bad. there's a possibility i could end up doing both, but it's not guaranteed. i've already been to australia before and love it. if you were given this choice, which would you choose?

I hate this one girl. Her grandparents died like 6 years ago, and now she literaly is trying to steal mine! She comes to all our family events (holidays, family reunions, etc.) and it's REALLY starting to bug me. I understand that she doesn't have grandparents, but that doesn't mean she can steal mine! Shes older than me, so I thought she'd get the picture. She comes and gets presents at christmas and my grandparents make me feel like I'm not enough. Ok... Ive had a crush on this girl for about 2 years now and a few people have been aware etc because when they say "Do you fancy _____?" I just smirk and i cant help it

Me and this girl are friends in school and have been for 3 years. Just recently i shared the secret completley with another girl in our class because she was sharing hers... From what i think she was not as honest as she said she is and at lunch period, she and my crush went upstairs to a Science room.

This is the biggest part of it that has me wondering... The next lesson after lunch period we are lining up outside of Modern Languages class and my crush walks up and says "Rhys..." But not like a striaght rhys. It was like "Rhhhhyyyyyysssss". (Considering shes never done that before

Is she teasing me,Fancy me or something else? (Shes not the type to tease eigher)

This is an older machine, still running win98. When I power it off, the next time I start it, the settings are all back to default.
It won't power down, or go to screen saver, until I reset it manually.
Desktop icons , toolbars, font size, everything goes back to default. I am saving for a new computer, but I can't really afford one right now.
What could it be?
