*sigh* There are at least two people I'd give everything I have and everything I'll ever have to see those two precious faces.

I have four friends I've made here who I treasure and who I'd like very much to meet and spend time with face to face.
One of them makes me sometimes feel that ache you're talking about.

Good question. My parents are thousands of miles overseas. They decided to return to their homeland years ago.I'm very close to mum and when i go through a hard time her voice over the phone simply is never enough. For the two precious ladies on here who've lost babies sometimes I feel i'd give anything for God to send my baby back down from heaven. She was born whole,'sleeping'.
She would have been 2 December. When I cry it's from my guts.
Until I have another baby i'm left wandering what my role as a mother will truly be.I also have a cousin who died a cruel death-on a life support machine.
I love God ,but have to wander why such good people die young or in unfair circumstances.I've been touched by all the answers here.Real people, real pain.

Yes, and the pain never goes away. It is constant and at times unbearable, I cannot explain this empty heart feeling that brings such pain to my body it hurts, it is a constant ache that fills not only my body but my heart and my soul as well, I look forward to the day of redemption so that I can be reunited with my lost love, so that we may walk through the gates of heaven together as one...

Yes, My Steve. He committed suicide on December 16, 2005, and for months afterward I had physical pain when I got really missing him so bad. It gradually faded, but every now and again, I have what I might call an empty space that cannot be filled. (And not just the one the tacky jokers might think of.) Like a hollow feeling in my chest.

Yes... especially when they are going through something and you just want to be there for them... with my loved ones that have passed, I don't feel any unfinished business, so I don't really miss them like that... plus I still feel them sometimes...

yes...my son. he died when he was only a month old, and for a long time it was like my arms ached to hold him.
i don't think that it really stopped until my daughter was born.

that's the only time that i've felt like that.
