ok wel i just heard my computer sign in but it took 10 minutes..... but the backround (explore.exe) isnt showing up?? its like i played some INSTENSE game and everything is taking a long time to load up. Whats wrong with the update??

Basically, is someone still a misogynist/misandrist if they only "hate" 3/4 of the opposite sex, and only in the vulnerable area of romantic relationships?
I've recently gained a new understanding of what my (awful) ex-wife used to say to me. She used to say that I hated women. I suppose that hate is just barely appropriate, but I'll accept it, with a caveat. The distinction I'd like to make is that I think it's very reasonable for sensitive men and women, most of which have been burned, to have suspicion/borderline hatred for most examples of the opposite sex, at least how the opposite sex behaves in the romantic arena.
You have to admit, most men and women are, to varying extents, incapable of a respectful relationship with the opposite sex, or at least the examples they keep ending up with.
Should someone be labeled so harshly, when all they're being is wise?

I am thinking about sending a query letter to a literary agent, but am worried, that rather than (maybe) accepting me, they might give my story to another writer who is already under their contract.

In high school, my academic performance other than band was abysmal. Since I'm majoring in music performance, I thought I'd do well in a related field like instrument repair (which I'd have to go to technical college for). It would be a good day job and I'd be able to feed myself.

If I do very well academically there will it count enough towards a regular university that they'd ignore my high school grades? I'd gladly go to a conservatory, but there's so much less available where extracurriculars are concerned.

Im trying to figure out if microorganisms effect the rate the plant grows. Im using Lima Beans (is that good?) im going to plant them in 2 pots, bake one (to kill the microogranisms) then record what i see...
my question is...i want to make it seem more superior than what it seems. ive never put my all in science projects, and sorry, i dont have enough time to put much...

Ok these 2 i had the most difficult with.

1- Suppose you have to hold a box of mass 10 kg against a wall so that the box does not slip. The coefficient of friction between the wall and the box is 0.70. What must be the minimal force you have to apply?

2- 3 masses m1 = 10 kg, m2 = 15 kg and m3 = 20 kg, are pulled with a force of 166N across a table. A coefficient of friction between the table and boxes is 0.12.

I've spent most of today in town with two really good friends of mine (both girls) we've had an excellent day, went for a meal and everything but I noticed something peculiar, no matter what we do or where we went it seems you girls are happiest when you're browsing through the aisles and picking out cute little thing to buy.

And yeah poor old me was left to follow at the back being brought into the occasion how does this look, or do you think I should buy this? us men don't have it easy lol!! Do you think I'm right in saying that you girls love to shop more than anything or is this just my imagination?

In a nutshell:

I'm 18, never been too sexual (first base with a guy, mainly because I've never found anyone I'd like to be with, and because the girl I wanted moved away this fall). I tend to check girls out in public. If I spot a cute guy, then I'm interested, but the fantasies mostly include the girls.

I can't remember the last time a guy turned me on. Oh yeah, it was some time last year at a club.

I think I might be gay, but I have never kissed/done anything with a girl. It is too early to say...or is it?
