When the cancer patient dies from cancer, the cancerous cells that infected the body no longer can survive without a host, or atleast the cancer cells have nothing to take or kill (meaning that the cancer cells can no longer kill any of the good cells such as the white cells and so forth) and they can no longer continue.

Nothing. The body no longer is alive to produce cells for it to spread to. In most cases, all the organs have been removed and embalming fluid replaces the blood.
