Since the human brain is so big - sometimes causing female pelvics to break while giving birth - wouldn`t natural selection work against humans evolving to have bigger brains?

Or are my facts all wrong? Let me know, this question comes from a gap in my understanding.

I don't get the trend of adding random letters to names. I recently saw Jacob spelled Jaykub. It's still the name Jacob, but now the kid will get made fun of.
Why not just give your child a unique name instead of weirdly spelled common name?

It doesn't matter what the invention is.It could be toilet paper or soap or the wheel. We can study history and can name the person who made these inventions.Yet, many Christians, will claim those are God created inventions or God inspired or God made the ingredients and so he made the invention.Do those Christians who think in these terms have a problem giving mankind any credit?

I had an attorney ask me to claim that I am the "next of kin" to get some money for him. This is just a portion of the email I recieved.
"I cannot move the money in my name because he is my client, for it could look suspicious, his account officer cannot do the same, hence the importance of your assistance. Have my assurance that there is nothing to fear about, as we also need your assurance that you would work with me without fear or favour to achieve our desired objective. The legal back up is no problem for I would be responsible. Since the codicil was not ready before his death, letter of administration without Will would be secured from the probate office, with this letter I would personally apply on your behalf to the bank for the release of funds to you.

I need to know what I should do? I'm am definetly not doing it but should I report it? If so to whom??

A Russian, an American and a Blonde were discussing space travel. The American argued that because they were the first to put a man on the moon, America was superior in space travel. The blonde stated her kind were going to be far superior to Russia and America because they were going to be the first to land on the sun. The Russian asked the blonde if she was nuts. Didn't she know that it was impossible to land on the sun? The American asked her just how in the hell she thought they could accomplish this considering the heat and extreme brightness of the sun." well, duh!" the blonde replied. "we're going at night."

I like werewolves. They're just so much more interesting then vampires. They're damned, but at the same time sort of a sign of pity. And they're a lot more complex then vampires.

My learning challenged son of legal age went to a car dealer on the promise of $100 to test drive a car. When he came home he had purchased a Ford ranger at 5000 over the book price. at 16 % interest. He has two children and there was no where for them to sit. (high pressured) He took it back and tried to give it back and they threated to impound the truck. He was upset and I went down there to see if i could straighten it out. The man told me the only way out of the contract was for him to exchange it for a Lincoln LS. It was very high pressure and that was the only way to solve it. The Lincoln was priced at much more of the 'real value' so he was pressured into signing for it as the only alternative. He really didnt want a car at all.
He cannot read or write. He is of legal age but does not understand the ramifications of 16% interest on a 20,000 loan over 72 months. There is no 3 day opt out where we live. The dealer said it was a "special event" that moved through and not his prob

Ive had this guy friend for over a year but I moved to another state and we've kept in contact. Recently I visited him and we kissed but never talked about our feelings (as I had to head back home). Then he contacted me and I invited him to visit me. He said he'd love to once he gets some free time (he's a huge study load). Last conversation he asked how long I'm going to be around (as i'm thinking of travelling). Told him at least a few mths so he said maybe at next vacation he will visit but he's thinking of going to his parents instead (who live in another country). I told him ok & then sort of joking said that I wont invite him again! He got the joke & laughed. This is wrecking my head though. I know family is important but I feel I'm wasting my time. What do you think? Also, I'm the one who is now saying 'hi' on chat & we only talk once a wk or so. Maybe its that its so long distance its difficult. we're both single without kids. I'm much older too.

I went to church once with my Mom on Easter, we never talked about God, and I was too afraid to bring it up. My Mom was baptised Baptist and my Dad Methodist, he athiest now, i think. The only thing my Mom said is you don't have to go to church to believe in God. I thought I found God when I was in my late teens. I ask Jesus in to my heart in and strayed from that. I don't think I understood at the time and my parents frowned upon me going to church. Every since then I've been confused. Here I am a Mom. My husband that I are bringing up into Christianity. More him than me. I don't know what's holding me back from dedicating my life to God. I mean I'm pretty sure about all this there's just been so many times where I wanted to live right but I've never stayed with it. I've never been baptised and I think that may be the reason why I can't do it. I don't want my kids knowing that I haven't been 100% dedicated to God their whole lives. Is it okay if I don't get baptised for this reason?
