Are all pharm schools around the US getting extremely hard to get into? The reason why I ask is b/c i'm currently a sophomore at uconn with little hope of getting in since my gpa is an embarrassing 2.6

Hopefully after this semester I can get it up to a higher 2 or even a 3 but nowhere near what the pharmacy school at uconn wants. I told my adviser and the pharmacists I work with that I'm going to take a year to take the courses that other schools want and apply the following year.

How would my chances be of transferring to an out of state pharm school be? I feel like this is a considerable risk by taking 1 year to do this b/c if i don't get in..then i would have to settle for something like dietetics.

And the reason why my gpa is low is b/c i didn't take college seriously my first year..but now everything is getting better.

Now, I am due for my period today. I don't have any cramping and I do not have any type of blood.

Ive had mild headaches, and a slight fever the other night. I feel better today. Sometimes i get a little nauseas after I eat something.

My breasts have been tender for the past couple of days but today, I noticed Bumps around my nipples ( areolas i think their called ). The bumps are red and white and pretty large. Looks a little darker than usual. The left breast is leaking some sort of white stuff and it looks to be more swollen then the other one slightly. Definitely itchy. Its really freaking me out. Can something be wrong?

I have never had these problems before in my whole life.

Right now my temperature is 99.5 degrees

I'm trying to hook up my xbox360 and dvd player to my receiver. I have them connected to my hdtv thru hdmi cables. Could I then hook my receiver to the spdif out on the tv, instead of running optical cables from the xbox and dvd to the receiver? Is it the same either way or is there signal loss?

Is this ok for october? I'm thinking mostly black & white (classy) with a little touch of hot pink here and there to keep it fun (and very "us"). Is this appropriate for October?

My idea is bridesmaid dresses black with white sashes, and the MOH will have a hot pink sash. The groomsmen will be in black tuxes with white shirt, black tie, and BM will have hot pink tie? I want the MOH and BM to stick out from the rest, but not enough to overpower me and my hubby-to-be.

I'm not totally sold on it, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

My 7 month old desperately needs a schedule. He is not napping well in his crib, up many times a night and is CRANKY! We always had problems with him napping in his crib, but it is getting worse and worse and now with him not sleeping well at night, we are desperate! I read No cry sleep solutions, Nightime Parenting, and the Baby Whisperer. Am thinking about trying the EASY shedule, pick up/put down method from the Baby Whisperer. Am wondering if anyone has tried this for an older infant and did it work for you? I don't believe in crying it out. I just want my baby to sleep!

My 6 yr. old son was w/ his father, on a freeway, he got pulled over for a cracked windshield the police officer searched his dad, then told him to face the police car, the officer then told my son to get out of the car and put his hands in his pockets and searched him, with out asking his dad, or for that matter asking me his mom who has full custody of him, is that legal? No they did not find anything on them, and despite all that, the officer impounded the car for no proof of insurance, and left my 6 year old and his dad on the side of the freeway, what can I do about this, it makes me very angry to think they can do things like this, and expect kids to respect them, any suggestions?

I was raised Catholic, I still consider myself Catholic, I feel the most comfortable at a Catholic church, etc. etc.

But I must say that I am pro-choice..and at mass every week there is some talk about abortion, and it makes me feel out of place.

Why are you SO devoted to the battle against abortion? Much more than Protestants?

Why is it that when us girls go out and we are married/engaged/living with someone that you have loads of men wanting your number or to take you home, yet when you are single you can't get a bloke for love nor money!!

I ask because I went out last night with 3 of my girlfriends, 2 of us are married, 1 is engaged and the other is living with her partner. We had men coming up to us all night asking for our numbers and so on. When we all single, yes we had boyfriends but never have I had so much attention as I did last night. It was even happening quite early on in the evening so the beer wasn't even a factor in a few cases.

What's going on - do men see us marrieds as a challenge ?

p.s Before you ask - none of us were unfaithful.

I might get over the changes if I cannot find a excellent condition MKII 5-1/2 Bull . I am not into "transfers" or "internet" gun houses. I only buy from shops due to my conservative nature and my support for people who go through the trouble to be storefront gun dealers. My Browning Buckmark needs a sister .22 and I do not believe in having two guns from the same company anymore.
