Is this ok for october? I'm thinking mostly black & white (classy) with a little touch of hot pink here and there to keep it fun (and very "us"). Is this appropriate for October?
My idea is bridesmaid dresses black with white sashes, and the MOH will have a hot pink sash. The groomsmen will be in black tuxes with white shirt, black tie, and BM will have hot pink tie? I want the MOH and BM to stick out from the rest, but not enough to overpower me and my hubby-to-be.
I'm not totally sold on it, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

does it have to be pink? pink really isn't a fall color, adn hot pink is super-springie or summery in my opinion.
Burgundy, dark purple, or orange would be better options and more fitting for a fall wedding. Think Halloween or Thanksgiving colors.
I am planning an October wedding and want to do black & white with splashes of red.

The whole idea to keep the BM and MOH separate from the rest is a really good idea. You aren't making them stand out too much, but just enough. Maybe for the pink you could get pink flowers to put on the table as center pieces. Don't put too much pink though or you will over power the black and white.

Sounds nice. A little hot pink really spices up the black and white theme. You can use the hot pink in table decorations and flowers too. Good choice. If you are concerned with the hot pink, you could go for another color such as red, saphire blue, royal purple or green.

I like it, it's classy and it gives a romantic feel. You could also add white or creme pearls, pink rose petals, pink and white small candles, hot pink feathers, and a medium-large mirror (mostly for the tables at the reception for the mirrors). I hope this helps and if you're still not sold on the idea, another color scheme idea is olive green and pink.

Skip the black attendants' dresses. Just have hot pink. The groomsmen are fine in black tuxes.

Hi Michelle and congratulations on your upcoming wedding!
YES, that would be very elegant and just fine for October. Black can be worn at anytime/season.
I love the way you are having your maid of honor and best man stand out. Yes, I think you should keep it exactly as you have it planned. It's very nice!
I hope you have a beautiful wedding!

I think it sounds cute. The splashes of hot pink will be just enough to break up boring black & white, but not over power it.

Great clor combo!!! I think its good in October, I wouldn't do pastels in the fall or winter, but hot pink is good. I had black & white at my wedding, except for all of our flowers were red roses. It was beautiful!
