I might get over the changes if I cannot find a excellent condition MKII 5-1/2 Bull . I am not into "transfers" or "internet" gun houses. I only buy from shops due to my conservative nature and my support for people who go through the trouble to be storefront gun dealers. My Browning Buckmark needs a sister .22 and I do not believe in having two guns from the same company anymore.

I used to own a Ruger MKII with the 5-1/2" bull barrel. It was a great firearm, it rarely jammed and is with out a doubt the most accurate pistol that I've ever shot.

The MKIII's are basically a MKII but with a few new features, so I would assume that the MKIII's are simply awesome guns.

I've been thinking of getting one for myself. :)

I own a bull, which my instructor suggested as a practice weapon . I love it.
I use it to shoot on the cheap without recoil. It has improved my 9MM skills tremendously.
