My fiance & I signed a contract to buy a house in August. Once we signed the paperwork we were told that there was a contingency with the sellers, they needed to find a house before they would sell. We were upset that they weren't honest with us about it but gave the owners over a month to find housing.

Finally about a month ago they found a house and signed off on the contingency. They closed on their house last week and moved out. Our lawyer sent the paperwork on our broker 2 weeks ago and called me to say that it was all clear and left for her honeymoon. My fiance and I were supposed to close on our house today, but found out two days ago that there is a lien on the house. Now another laywer in the firm is taking care of our stuff and wont give us answers.

The owners of the house lied to us about the lien, our lawyer lied to us about it and we dont know how long it will take to clear up. Our real estate agent has been out of state and not much help.
What should we do?

Okay, I will finally bite, out of the same urge that propels the awful vanity contests. If someone like Todd would reply, I'd appreciate it (a nod to your skills, man).
This is longitude.

Longitude

Magnetic fluxlines of organization
spill outward from the dark secret
heart of the Arctic ocean,
frozen,
yet, we know, fluid
time cracked into discrete floes -
a grin of pack ice
incisors wedged securely behind
obscurity’s overfull lips.

They ripple through, divide and conquer us,
rule us like loose leaves, blueblood
veins rushing their rabid hormone, civilizin.
They set the tempo of the human heart
beat, instruct it on where & when it lives and why.

By Tropic of Capricorn they know they’re almost done -
convene at the summit on that anti-Arctic ocean, that craggy capital
clock of terrain gone over to freezing time,
to pour themselves into a singular definition
The world can turn on.

And I know longitude, not
gravity straps us
to this spinning surface.

I've been married 6 years, have 2 wonderful kids but I'm really starting to miss the thrill of the chase, you know going out with mates at the weekend clubbing, getting really drunk, and chasing the opposite sex,

I now don't have any mates as we all settled down and parted ways, I had to give up alcohol due to a medical condition, My other halh hates clubbing so never get out.

I suppose I feel bored, I miss chasing after the opposite sex, Is this normal??

Come on! I love the books and the films, don't get me wrong, but when that's headlining your news it's a bit mad. What're your thoughts on this? Personally I think it's hilarious.

Mark, the personnel manager for Shelby Manufacturing Company, was meeting with Shawn, the production manager. Shawn began the conversation by stating, “Mark, one of our first-line supervisors has applied for the new departmental job. This guy would be great and is the best qualified. But, I don’t want to put a 62-year-old person in the position. I’d rather fill the vacancy with someone who will be with us for a while. Also, our competition is so great that we must absolutely have a person in this job who has the energy to work long hours.”

"Shawn,” Mark said, “I guess you don’t realize that our company has always had a policy against age discrimination. Not only that, it’s illegal. I suggest that if age is your only hang-up, the worker should be promoted.”

Do you agree with Mark's assessment of the situation? Why or why not?

Okay, so I'm wondering why god is such a HATER? Why would a god want to divide people? A people with one language who were working in unity to get closer to a being that is supposed to love them. Why would any loving god want to destroy that? And why have we been allowed to make seemingly LARGER buildings now? Hell, we've made it to the moon. Why is god suddenly impotent?
